Tower Of Jewels Celebrates 50 Years Of Serving Las Vegas!

Nevada’s largest manufacturing jeweler, Tower of Jewels, celebrates a monumental anniversary with 50 years of customer service, community involvement and excellence in manufacturing. To recognize the exceptional milestone, a multitude of anniversary initiatives will take place throughout the year, culminating with a 50th anniversary celebration event in November.

With a rich and established history, Tower of Jewels has secured an iconic place in Las Vegas. Led by the vision of Jack Weinstein, along with strong values nestled in family, integrity and service, Tower of Jewels marks its 50th anniversary with a reintroduction of a new website, a location remodel and VIP celebrations for customers and influencers.

“I built the Tower of Jewels enterprise on a vision to open a jewelry store unlike anything already in existence,” said Jack Weinstein, owner of Tower of Jewels. “We pride ourselves on being a unique, family-owned and operated business. We manufacture our own pieces, which allows us to pass those savings to the customer, creating exquisite jewelry pieces without sacrificing quality and service,” said Weinstein.

In the spirit of true craftsmanship, Weinstein’s exclusive U.S. patented diamonds, Lustrous 121 and Lustrous 105, will be showcased and featured at events throughout the year. In addition, Tower of Jewels will honor its team of master jewelers, diamond cutters and setters with the launch of the “Heritage Collection,” a recreation of standard metal, gold and silver jewelry pieces using a 30-year old library of rubber molds. The collection will be designed by Polly Weinstein, daughter of Jack Weinstein and founder of jewelry line, The Jeweler’s Daughter.

“I feel fortunate to have been raised in this industry, working alongside my dad and learning all he has shared with me,” said Polly Weinstein. “We are excited to celebrate this anniversary throughout the year and host events to introduce the brand to a wider generation of Las Vegans. I look to continue the legacy my father has created in Tower of Jewels for at least the next 50 years,” Weinstein continued.

Under Polly Weinstein’s direction, a remodel of the Rampart location in Summerlin is planned for fall. Upon completion, Weinstein will implement a series of ongoing in-store events, beginning with a media night in late September. The store will showcase a new look and feel, along with monthly art installation windows designed by Weinstein herself. From customer appreciation events to monthly charity partnerships, the Rampart store will also serve as the location for its subsidiary line, the Jeweler’s Daughter, as it transitions into a lifestyle brand with the introduction of an apothecary line, leather goods and designer resale items.

At age 13, Jack Weinstein’s career launched in Detroit, Michigan when he joined his brothers and uncle in the family jewelry business. Relocating to Las Vegas in 1964, Weinstein sought to open a jewelry store which was dedicated to serving both the community and customers by delivering exquisite jewelry pieces without sacrificing quality and service. He opened his first store on bustling downtown Fremont Street and forayed into building the brand in a burgeoning Las Vegas which, at the time, was just establishing its footing.

Evoking its signature classic attributes, Weinstein led the construction of a 20,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing and design center which was completed in 1999. The largest structure of its kind in the United States, the Tower of Jewels Manufacturing & Design Center serves as headquarters for the company and employs an experienced team of jewelers, goldsmiths, designers and diamond cutters all under one roof.

Now, at 87 years of age, Weinstein continues to lead the Tower of Jewels empire, nurturing the legacy and heritage he so heavily embedded in both his family and in the community he cherishes.

Spend Father's Day At The LVMS With Chris Trickle

Chuck Trickle always looks forward to the annual Chris Trickle Father’s Day Weekend Special on Saturday night at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway – even though it has been five years since he stopped driving in the event named for his late son.

“This is an annual thing that the track has kept going and it’s been a wonderful, wonderful (weekend),” said Trickle, The Bullring’s 2003 Super Late Model champion. “Some extra guys come in to race just because of that race, so it’s exciting. I’m really thankful that the Speedway keeps this up and I’m thankful that people still remember (Chris) and think about him.”

Trickle, who turns 70 on June 19, said he is even toying with the idea of racing the familiar light blue No. 70 that was synonymous with his late son and that Chuck drove to five Father’s Day Weekend wins.
“I’m not going to be competitive – it’s an old car – but I’m thinking about getting it out there and going racing,” Trickle said. “The Father’s Day race is going to be special this year because of my age and the car number.”

The annual Father’s Day Weekend Special at The Bullring is named in honor of Chris Trickle, a popular and promising NASCAR driver from Las Vegas who died in 1998 of injuries he sustained in a still-unsolved drive-by shooting a year earlier. In addition to the annual Father’s Day races, a small park behind the grandstands at The Bullring is named the Chris Trickle Children’s Park.

The highlight of the Chris Trickle Father’s Day Weekend Special will be a pair of 35-lap Super Late Model features. Also on the racing card will be NASCAR Super Stocks, Bombers, Grand American Modifieds, Legend Cars, Thunder Cars and Bandoleros. Spectator gates open at 5 p.m., qualifying begins at 5, an on-track autograph session with all drivers will be held from 5:50 to 6:40 and heat races and features will start at 7.

The first 100 dads through the gates will receive a certificate for a Fabulous Freddy’s Best Exterior Wash and prizes will be given away throughout the night.

The Bullring is one of the best entertainment values in Southern Nevada with affordable ticket prices and family-friendly concession prices including $1 hot dogs, $1 Coca-Cola products and $2 Budweiser beer. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or in advance by visiting or calling the LVMS ticket office at (702) 644-4444 or online at www.lvms.com. Discounted tickets are available with an advance purchase.

Celebs & Athletes All This Week-End TAO In Vegas!

Chris Paul

Pentatonix, an a capella group best known for winning the third season of “The Sing-Off” on NBC, dined at TAO Asian Bistro on Friday night. The vocalists sipped on TAO-tinis and enjoyed a few of the restaurant’s signature dishes including the Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, Crispy Orange Chicken, Diver Sea Scallops with Red Curry and Thai Basil, and Wok-Seared New York Sirloin with Shiitake mushrooms and Szechwan potatoes.

Also at TAO Asian Bistro was Los Angeles Clippers’ point guard Chris Paul with friends. The group enjoyed TAO’s signature Dragon Slayer cocktail and dined on Paul’s favorite TAO dish, the Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass, along with Crispy Orange Chicken and Crispy Coconut Shrimp with Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce. While at the restaurant, the NBA star headed back to the kitchen to see if he could talk Executive Chef Sean Kinoshita into giving him the recipe for his favorite dish. For dessert, everyone enjoyed another favorite of Paul’s, the Oreo Zeppole from LAVO Italian Restaurant, which was sent over specially for the star. The group then headed upstairs to TAO Nightclub where they partied from a VIP table on the dance floor.

NBA player and Golden State Warriors’ center-forward Jermaine O’Neal was also spotted at TAO Nightclub. O’Neal and a group of friends took over a VIP table and partied to the sounds of DJ Eric D-Lux.
