Artist Info: Now appearing twice a month, hosts and singer/songwriters Brian McComas, who wrote and sang “I Could Never Love You Enough,” and Aaron Benward of Blue County, who wrote and sang “That’s Cool,” present “Nashville Unplugged: The Story Behind the Song.” In addition to these two talented musicians, they host well-known songwriters to create a fun and unique experience, akin to Nashville’s Bluebird Café.

Wayne Kirkpatrick’s songs have been recorded by Little Big Town, Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Babyface, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood and Peter Frampton, among others. In 1996, Kirkpatrick co-wrote Eric Clapton’s “Change the World,” which peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 chart and won the Grammy Award for “Song of the Year.” Kirkpatrick’s success continued with the band Little Big Town, as he produced and co-wrote the majority of the albums The Road to Here, A Place to Land and The Reason Why. Kennedy established himself as one of country music’s most sought-after writers, after co-writing 10 songs off Garth Brooks’ album The Life of Chris Gaines, which reached number two on the Billboard 200 chart. Caesars Palace is pleased to announce internationally renowned Chef Gordon Ramsay will expand on his relationship with Caesars Entertainment and open his second Las Vegas restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, in late 2012.  The new contemporary yet casual restaurant and bar will serve lunch and dinner and will be located in the heart of the resort adjacent to the premiere entertainment venue, The Colosseum, replacing Bradley Ogden restaurant.

Michelin Star Chef Gordon Ramsay, known not only for his superior cuisine, but also his popular TV personality on the FOX Network programs “Hell’s Kitchen,” “MasterChef” and “Kitchen Nightmares,” has emerged on the Las Vegas culinary scene with rave reviews at the newly opened Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas. Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill will provide his fans another outlet to enjoy the chef’s award-winning skills in a lively and approachable English pub-style setting, offering the finest casual food utilizing the freshest ingredients.

Paying homage to a true pub, the new restaurant will feature a wide selection of craft and microbrews from around the world, offering beer enthusiasts more than 40 beers on tap.

EDG Interior Architecture + Design will create a space that is welcoming, high-energy and comfortable utilizing distressed woods with cheeky references to historic and iconic events throughout the space.

The centerpiece of the space will feature a striking bar with an array of beer taps on display and the backdrop inspired by traditional London red telephone booths. Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill will

take advantage of its location with a patio area extending onto the casino floor where guests can be in

the middle of the action. Kegs will serve as a major part of both the dining experience and the design while pop culture relics from both England and the United States will fill the walls. The 290-seat

restaurant will include an impressive bar, a vintage-style lounge, a series of casual dining rooms and a private dining room, giving guests a variety of culinary experiences to fit any mood.

GORDON RAMSAY

Scottish by birth, Gordon Ramsay was brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon, England.  With an injury prematurely putting an end to any hopes of a promising career in football, he went back to college to complete a course in hotel management.  His dedication and natural talent led him to train with some of the world’s leading chefs, such as Albert Roux and Marco Pierre White in London, and Guy Savoy and

Joël Robuchon in France.

In 1993 Ramsay became chef of Aubergine in London. Within three years, he was awarded two Michelin stars. In 1998, at the age of 31, Ramsay set up his first wholly owned and namesake restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, which quickly received the most prestigious accolade

in the culinary world – three Michelin stars. Today, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is London’s longest-running restaurant to hold this award, and Ramsay is one of only four chefs in the U.K. to maintain three stars.

Fizt Chips going away..then The D Chips hit the floor!

It’s out with the old and in with the new at the D Las Vegas! The downtown property is taking the Fitz chips off the floor for good as part of its dramatic transformation from its former identity as Fitzgeralds Casino & Hotel. The Fitz chips will remain in play until August 14th when the D stacks them up for the last time.

In addition to the traditional Fitz chips, guests will have the opportunity to play with special edition pieces created for Don Barden, St. Patrick’s Day, Fremont Street Experience and the Millennium.

The transition from the Fitz Chips is part of the overall changes to the gaming experience taking place at property. Scheduled for completion in fall 2012, the D will introduce one of Vegas’ only two-level casinos. The first-floor modern casino will deliver the latest in slots and tables games manned by the D’s playful dancing dealers.
