Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill coming to Caesars Palace!

Caesars Palace is pleased to announce internationally renowned Chef Gordon Ramsay will expand on his relationship with Caesars Entertainment and open his second Las Vegas restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, in late 2012.  The new contemporary yet casual restaurant and bar will serve lunch and dinner and will be located in the heart of the resort adjacent to the premiere entertainment venue, The Colosseum, replacing Bradley Ogden restaurant.

Michelin Star Chef Gordon Ramsay, known not only for his superior cuisine, but also his popular TV personality on the FOX Network programs “Hell’s Kitchen,” “MasterChef” and “Kitchen Nightmares,” has emerged on the Las Vegas culinary scene with rave reviews at the newly opened Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas. Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill will provide his fans another outlet to enjoy the chef’s award-winning skills in a lively and approachable English pub-style setting, offering the finest casual food utilizing the freshest ingredients.

“Like many others, I’ve followed the accomplishments of Chef Gordon Ramsay for years at both his restaurants and on TV, and I am honored to welcome him into the Caesars Palace family of acclaimed chefs,” says Gary Selesner, Caesars Palace regional president. “With its prime location near the Forum Shops and across from the Colosseum, convenient parking for locals, and menu of familiar and
casual food, presented in a style fitting of Ramsay’s unique flair for cuisine, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill will be a lively new restaurant concept to offer our Caesars Palace guests.”

The menu at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill will be comprised of items consistent with British pub food—bangers and mash, fish and chips and roasted chicken—as well as some of Ramsay’s favorites like London broil prepared on a wood-burning grill, all part of a rustic menu that will change seasonally. Paying homage to a true pub, the new restaurant will feature a wide selection of craft and microbrews from around the world, offering beer enthusiasts more than 40 beers on tap.

“I am overwhelmed by the support Gordon Ramsay Steak has received by guests and our Caesars Entertainment partners, and I’m excited to now bring some more of my favorite cuisine and an authentic pub experience to Caesars Palace with Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill,” said Ramsay.

EDG Interior Architecture + Design will create a space that is welcoming, high-energy and comfortable utilizing distressed woods with cheeky references to historic and iconic events throughout the space.
The centerpiece of the space will feature a striking bar with an array of beer taps on display and the backdrop inspired by traditional London red telephone booths. Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill will
take advantage of its location with a patio area extending onto the casino floor where guests can be in
the middle of the action. Kegs will serve as a major part of both the dining experience and the design while pop culture relics from both England and the United States will fill the walls. The 290-seat
restaurant will include an impressive bar, a vintage-style lounge, a series of casual dining rooms and a private dining room, giving guests a variety of culinary experiences to fit any mood.

GORDON RAMSAY
Scottish by birth, Gordon Ramsay was brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon, England.  With an injury prematurely putting an end to any hopes of a promising career in football, he went back to college to complete a course in hotel management.  His dedication and natural talent led him to train with some of the world’s leading chefs, such as Albert Roux and Marco Pierre White in London, and Guy Savoy and
Joël Robuchon in France.

In 1993 Ramsay became chef of Aubergine in London. Within three years, he was awarded two Michelin stars. In 1998, at the age of 31, Ramsay set up his first wholly owned and namesake restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, which quickly received the most prestigious accolade
in the culinary world – three Michelin stars. Today, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is London’s longest-running restaurant to hold this award, and Ramsay is one of only four chefs in the U.K. to maintain three stars.

Now internationally renowned, Ramsay has opened a string of successful restaurants across the globe, from Italy to the United States. The group continues to grow with recent openings such as Bread
Street Kitchen in London’s City district; two ventures in Doha, Qatar; Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris
Las Vegas; and the eagerly anticipated opening of The Fat Cow in Los Angeles later this year.  Ramsay received an OBE (Order of the British Empire awarded by Queen Elizabeth II) in 2006 for services to
the industry.

Ramsay has also become a star of the small screen both in the U.K. and internationally, with U.K. shows
such as GORDON’S GREAT ESCAPES and GORDON RAMSAY: SHARK BAIT, as well as three
top-rated FOX shows that air in more than 200 countries worldwide: KITCHEN NIGHTMARES, HELL’S KITCHEN and MASTERCHEF, not to mention his latest FOX series premiering this summer, HOTEL HELL. He is also a published author of a number of books, many of which have become
bestsellers around the world, most notably his autobiography, Roasting in Hell’s Kitchen.

Ramsay has a global partnership with WWRD (Waterford, Wedgwood, Royal Doulton), which offers quality home and lifestyle products, and he also has brought out a range of Seriously Good sauces for the
charity Comic Relief.

He lives with his wife, Tana and four children, along with their bulldog Rumpole and two cats. He
divides his time between Los Angeles and South London.

  1. I would love to have the privilege of eating at one of Chef Ramsey’s kitchens. I would also love to learn how to cook from him, because he is recognized as one of the very best cooks in the world, and there’s a good reason why this man has four shows! My Hopper automatically records both “Hell's Kitchen” and “Masterchef” for me every week without me having to set any DVR recordings or timers. My Dish coworker told me that my Hoppers PrimeTime Anytime feature will automatically record all of my prime time shows that come on CBS, NBC, FOX and ABC everyday in HD. The Hopper allows me to watch even more TV shows, and I can skip my recorded commercials!
