Hot Chelle Rae Has Fun Downtown In Vegas!

Hot Chelle Rae

Model Allison

Thursday night, before taking the stage tonight as the opening act for Justin Bieber, pop rockers Hot Chelle Rae started their weekend in downtown Las Vegas at  the D and Golden Gate. The musicians  started their night with dinner at Joe Vicari’s Andiamo Italian Steakhouse inside the D in the company of close friends including America’s Next Top Model Season 12 Runner-Up Allison Harvard. The friends dined on authentic Italian delicacies in an intimate setting. Base player Ian Keaggy loved the restaurant’s signature zip sauce and gave his compliments to the chef after finishing his meal. Fellow band mate Nash Overstreet posted a photo to Instagram of the group enjoying calamari, steak and lobster risotto. The group later retreated to high-roller penthouses at the Golden Gate – Las Vegas’ original hotel and casino.

Known for their double platinum single “Tonight Tonight,” Hot Chelle Rae will open for Justin Bieber at tonight’s concert in Vegas as part of his “Believe” tour.

TAO Welcomes Wiz Khalifa! Audrina Patridge Sighting!

Thursday afternoon, Wiz Khalifa was spotted lounging poolside at Marquee Dayclub. The rap artist was seen fueling up for his appearance at TAO Nightclub that evening, enjoying shrimp cocktail and a few frozen drinks. The star was gracious as fans approached and made sure to invite each and every one to come party with him as he headlined Worship Thursdays.

Later in the night at TAO, Wiz made his way to a VIP table on the dance floor with a large group of friends before jumping on stage. He was welcomed with cheers and applause as he wowed the packed crowd song after song, performing a roster of smash hits including "Young, Wild & Free," "Work Hard, Play Hard" and "Black and Yellow". The room belted the lyrics word for word as flashing lights illuminated the club scene and captured the rapper's energetic delivery. Before closing out his performance, Wiz thanked the crowd, encouraged them to live life and also announced that he will be dropping an album at the end of this year. Afterward, he returned to his VIP table where he danced and partied into the early morning to the sounds of DJ Five, posting many Instagram photos of his experience at TAO.

Congrats To "VEGAS! The Show" For Three Years!!

The cast and crew of “VEGAS! The Show” gathered in between shows Wednesday night in the Saxe Theater to celebrate the success of the past three years and to toast to many more! After enjoying delicious treats from local favorites Capriotti’s and Nothing Bundt Cakes, the excited cast posed for photos with producer and creator, David Saxe, and choreographer and director, Tiger Martina.

Looking out over the packed house, David Saxe was all smiles as he opened bottles of celebratory champagne. After a fun champagne toast, it was back to work for the busy group who jumped right back into hair curlers and costumes in time for the opening number of their second show of the night.
Tiger Martina reflected on the milestone, noting, “There is nothing more rewarding than hearing our audiences react to the show and then come back over and over again. It's an honor and a privilege to bring our audiences a product that brings dignity to Las Vegas entertainers of the past while educating a whole new generation of a time when simple, raw talent could still give you that wow factor. The moments in ‘VEGAS! The Show’ will stay with guests long after their trip to Las Vegas is over.”

Attached are photos of the cast and the cast with crew from last night’s celebration. Please credit David Saxe Productions.

"Night Of Fire" Festivities At LVMS * FIREWORKS! July 3rd.

The Bullring, Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s NASCAR-sanctioned 3/8-mile asphalt oval for local stock car racing, will present its popular Night of Fire on Wednesday, July 3. In addition to its traditional fireworks spectacular, the program offers up additional thrills in the form of Waterless Boat Racing, a Jet Car Burn and the “Shocker” Monster Truck.

Waterless Boat Racing begins with a boat securely attached to a race car. The stock cars will race each other as they tow the junk boats behind them. Racing in a straight line down the front or back straightaway is the easy part. The thrills begin when the cars race into the turns. The boats act as a pendulum and swing wide in the turns due to the centrifugal force. Many times, the boat yanks the rear of the car, causing the car to spin out, or worse, striking the car next to it. The driver who completes the prescribed number of laps first while his boat still is attached is the winner. NASCAR Bomber driver “Wild Wade” Pearson is one of the favorites in this event and has promised a special paint scheme for July 3.

The Jet Car Burn consists of one jet-powered dragster chained to one junk automobile. The jet dragster – this year it’s the Mav-TV Missile – fires up its engine and completely destroys the junker, reducing it to a smoldering heap of sparking, molten steel.

The Monster Truck “Shocker” will entertain the fans by crushing cars and freestyling in the infield.
Of course, a complete card of NASCAR-sanctioned stock car racing is on tap, crowned by the 76-lap NASCAR Super Late Model feature.

The highlight of the evening will be a spectacular holiday fireworks display at the end of the program at approximately 10:20 p.m.
Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m. with racing at 6 p.m.
Spectators may save money by purchasing admission tickets in advance by visiting or calling the LVMS ticket office (702-644-4444) or online at www.LVMS.com.

Las Vegas teenage vocalist Kaela Jonson-Smith will sing the national anthem.

Live Bands To Perform To "Save The Huntridge"

On July 28, 1995, punk band Circle Jerks were scheduled to perform at The Huntridge Theatre, but when they showed up to the venue they found the roof collapsed. They had nowhere else to be, so they set up their equipment in the parking lot and played for the fans in attendance. The spirit of The Huntridge and the bands that have performed, even in the parking lot, lives on as the Save the Huntridge movement invites the community to engage that same heart and soul and come out for a fundraiser unlike any other.

Live bands such as HaleAmanO and Alaska will be performing, live art by Deadgirls and Robots will take place and the valley’s best food trucks including Slidin’ Thru and Kona Ice will be onsite, with a portion of their proceeds going to the Save the Huntridge Indiegogo campaign.

The night will peak when the north facing side of the historical theatre will be lit to show the promise and future of the venue.
