Today, Life is Beautiful Festival announced the official artist lineup for the third edition of the music, food, arts and learning festival. In partnership with Another Planet Entertainment and Insomniac, Life is Beautiful will return to Downtown Las Vegas to provide festival- goers an exciting experience of world-class cuisine, extraordinary art and some of the world’s biggest musicians.

Headlining this year is 25-time GRAMMY®  winner and  global  superstar, Stevie  Wonder, Las Vegas hometown rockstars, Imagine Dragons, hip-hop heavyweight, Kendrick Lamar, and music  legends, Duran Duran, who are among more than 70 established and emerging artists to hit the four outdoor stages throughout the weekend.

In collaboration with Insomniac, Life is Beautiful will host an entire Insomniac curated music area, taking over one of the four stages on the festival grounds. World leading and fresh faced dance music artists on this year’s lineup include Thievery Corporation, Porter Robinson, Major Lazor, DJ Snake, Tchami, Cashmere Cat and many more.

Let The Money Flow! The Forum Shops Welcomes New High End Retailers!

Globally recognized as the premier address for luxury retail, The Forum Shops at Caesars has a distinguished history and track record of success in being first to bring many of the worlds most celebrated designers to the destination.  Versace, Giorgio Armani, Ferragamo, Fendi, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Cartier selected The Forum Shops as the preferred location in Las Vegas to open their first store.

Today, the renowned shopping center boasts more than 160 shops and restaurants – more than 45 of which can only be found in Las Vegas at The Forum Shops at Caesars. And, the iconic center continues to welcome even more distinctive retailers and desirable brands.

In the past year, The Forum Shops welcomed 17 new tenants and four more expanded or renovated within the famed center. The 850-square-feet boutique showcases coveted CHANEL fragrance, makeup and skincare products, and pairs them with a visually inspiring boutique CHANEL sunglasses in a one-of-a-kind design concept exclusive to this location.

           

French-Italian apparel manufacturer and lifestyle brand Moncler has opened its first Las Vegas boutique inside The Forum Shops at Caesars.  Founded in 1952 by René Ramillon, Moncler is most known for its down jackets and sportswear. The Moncler shopping experience seeks to combine the two main tenets that have always been core to the brand - to deliver absolute elegance through a detailed, design focus with a modern and urban aesthetic and to provide comfort and practicality at all times. The unique retail space is defined by a series of sumptuous details: oak is used for both floors and ceilings, while irregular French paneling carved with intricate detail adorns the walls, a warm and embracing atmosphere dominates through the use of natural and rustically imperfect materials.

Iconic Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani opened its namesake boutique, earlier this year. The design of the boutique blends craftsmanship and modernity, perfectly complementing the aesthetic of Giorgio Armani’s ready-to-wear and accessory collections for women and men.

Iconic American designer Ralph Lauren has opened Polo Ralph Lauren – one of its first Polo stores in the US – inside The Forum Shops at Caesars. Polo Ralph Lauren is a new store concept dedicated to the iconic world of Polo for men and the brand-new Polo collection for women. Women's Polo is the new symbol of expression for the modern woman, all-American and sporty with a cool, downtown edge. The new Polo Ralph Lauren boutique at The Forum Shops reflects the fresh, timeless spirit of the brand. Located between the Fountain of the Gods and the Festival Court, the new concept store features painted millwork and brick walls, reclaimed oak floors and vintage lighting.

British luxury shoes and accessories brand, Charlotte Olympia recently opened its first Las Vegas boutique at The Forum Shops at Caesars. The new store encapsulates the spirit of the brand and is inspired by a by-gone era of old Hollywood glamour. An 'open vision' concept, accentuated by rectangular showcase windows, is an invitation to passersby to step into the world of Charlotte's Web. Luxurious blush furnishings and signature leopard print mid-century style seating entice customers to sit back and enjoy the welcoming environment of this unique store. The store showcases a beautiful herringbone wooden floor with matching furniture in the new dedicated room showcasing the recently launched collection of leather handbags and small leather goods. The store also features an exclusively designed 'Las Vegas' capsule collection, which includes a Poker Face Kitty flat, a Queen of Hearts silk satin pouch, a Roulette square Perspex clutch bag, a Black Jack and Lady Luck platform sandal, a Full House wedge and last but by no means least a Showgirl t-bar sandal.

Newly-opened on the second level of The Forum Shops, Zadig & Voltaire is all about casual-chic: it is a state of mind, a musical inclination, and fashion as a bold statement. With rock’n’roll in its blood and art as its inspiration, the brand has naturally become a “concept store” ahead of its time. In stores, its collections are accompanied by music compilations from the brand’s label. It is art and luxury at an affordable price: this was Thierry Gillier’s vision.

Brooklyn-based jewelry brand Alexis Bittar opens its first stand-alone boutique in Las Vegas at The Forum Shops at Caesars. The new store design reflects the playful contrast of art and fantasy which creates a distinctly Alexis Bittar environment. Adding to the atmosphere is a staple to any Alexis Bittar store, an ethically-sourced, neon-hued hybrid taxidermy animal, hand-painted exclusively to Bittar’s custom colorations by artist Frank J. Zitz.

In an ongoing effort to provide visitors to The Forum Shops the best shopping experience by improving ease of customer access and increased open sight lines, several property enhancements have recently been completed including the new Laocoon Fountain and Escalator. New York Restaurant Coming To Vegas...Welcome Carbone!

New York’s critically acclaimed Carbone restaurant will bring its show-stopping, Italian-American dining experience to the bright lights of Las Vegas when it debuts this fall at ARIA Resort & Casino.

The celebrated concept from Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick pays homage to the Italian-American restaurants of the mid-20th century – an era of glamour, showmanship and tableside service. The food is inspired by that same time in history, but takes its culinary cues from the great talents and techniques of today showcasing elevated classics such as Lobster Fra Diavola, Chicken Scarpariello, Veal Parmesan and Octopus Pizzaiolo.

The Greenwich Village-based restaurant opened in 2013 and received tremendous accolades during its first year, including three stars by The New York Times, five out of five stars from Time Out New York, and a nod from the James Beard Foundation as a finalist for “Best New Restaurant” in the country.

This will not be a replica of Carbone New York, but rather a Carbone for Las Vegas. While the menu will be very similar, the design will be inspired by the history of Las Vegas and the Rat Pack era, which also was a reference point for the original locale. “Las Vegas and New York had a synergy during that time period,” said Jeff Zalaznick, managing partner. “The same people who were eating at Rocco’s in New York were eating at the Sands in Las Vegas with similar experiences, including Captain-driven service and tableside presentations. Carbone at ARIA will embody that glamorous era of Sin City.”

MGM Resorts Senior Vice President of Food and Beverage Ari Kastrati said, “We’re proud to introduce Las Vegas visitors and locals to Carbone, an exceptional eatery that New Yorkers, who are arguably the world’s most discerning travelers, have widely embraced. Juxtaposed with ARIA’s modern architecture, Carbone will deliver an authentic experience that embodies the 50s and 60s of Las Vegas.”

Abundance, hospitality and generosity are key themes for the restaurant. The waiters – known as “Captains” – are exceptionally skilled professionals with a New York edge. Each Captain has been hand selected by the Carbone family to deliver the entertaining attitude and premier service for which the restaurant is renowned. The Captains will don iconic burgundy tuxedos, created by legendary fashion designer Zac Posen to reflect the fashion during the late 1950s. All elements of the Carbone experience will be carefully curated – from the hand-painted plates that remind diners of grandma’s house to era-specific music – to bring Carbone’s unique soul to life.

A core part of the theatrical dining experience at Carbone Las Vegas will be an elevated approach to tableside service. Chef Mario Carbone said, “Our ARIA restaurant will be larger than the New York location, which offers the opportunity to place an even greater focus on creative tableside presentations, from our Caesar salad and pulled mozzarella to our lamb chops. These little touches all work together to create a fun fine dining experience. Food is more important to me than anything in the world, but at the end of the day, what I want to do is have a great time with the best food – and the possibilities for that in Las Vegas are endless.”

Coming Up! Swing Session Las Vegas With Chef Mario Batali

On Friday, June 5th, join Mario Batali Foundation founder, Mario Batali, and co-host Anthony Anderson at B&B Burger & Beer for the ultimate kick-off to a weekend of deliciousness: Burgers in the Bunker! Starting at 9PM, guests will indulge in award-winning burgers and signature Averna shakes while enjoying the Vegas lights on B&B Burger’s outdoor patio.

On Saturday, hit the greens with Mario and friends, celebrities, and A-list chefs for the ultimate gastronomic golf event, Swing Session Celebrity Golf Classic. Eat, drink and swing your way through a memorable round of golf at the world-renowned Cascata.

Start the day with a 9:30AM golf clinic led by event co-host Hank Haney. At 10:30 AM, a shotgun start will launch golfers onto the course. Before teeing off at each hole, players will sample snacks and drinks from some of the most respected chefs and restaurants in Las Vegas including DB Brasserie, B&B Ristorante, Delmonico’s Steakhouse, CUT by Wolfgang Puck, and B&B Burger & Beer as well as an oyster bar sponsored by Santa Monica Seafood Company. Golf carts carrying Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches and cocktails from mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim will roam the course to make sure no player goes hungry (or parched). 

At the end of the day, golfers will indulge in a gifting lounge at the Cascata clubhouse. From there, shuttles will bus golfers back to the Palazzo to rest up before an awards ceremony.

At 8PM, the fun continues at The 19th Hole at Carnevino Italian Steakhouse at the Palazzo. Stations throughout the restaurant will allow guests to sample the restaurant’s signature brand of dry-aged beef, paired with opulent Italian wines.

BRAVO! Cucina Italiana (BRAVO!) unveils delectable dishes, featuring signature made-to-order pizzas. Rock In Rio Founder Enjoys "FRANK - The Man. The Music" Show

Rock in Rio Founder Roberto Medina attended “FRANK – The Man. The Music.” at The Palazzo Las Vegas on Thursday, May 14. The music impresario, who in 1980 brought Frank Sinatra to Brazil, where he performed the biggest concert of his career to 175,000 fans, met backstage with Bob Anderson and Vincent Falcone before the show. Falcone, who was Frank Sinatra’s musical director at the time of his performance in Brazil, reminisced about the famed concert at Maracanã Stadium and shared stories about Ol' Blue Eyes.

On Friday, May 15, Oscar-winning singer/songwriter John Legend stopped into Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant at MGM Grand for an intimate evening, in town to perform Saturday during the week-two lineup at the Rock in Rio USA music festival. Taking his seat in the main dining room just after 9 p.m. joined by his beautiful wife, model Chrissy Teigen and a few close friends, the group was seen laughing and enjoying themselves over items such as the Roasted Chilean Seabass with Chinese honey and the Jasmine tea-smoked short ribs to name a few. 

Shortly thereafter, British singer and global trendsetter Rita Ora was seen entering the modern Cantonese restaurant with a few friends around 10:30 p.m. Keeping it casual sporting a white T-shirt and black jacket with matching oversized hat, the pop star indulged in Hakkasan’s signature Crispy duck salad and Hakka-steamed dim sum platter among others. Ora finished her meal sipping on Lychee martinis and eventually was seen leaving the restaurant just after midnight.
