Celebrity Chef Kerry Simon’s most recent restaurant endeavor, Carson Kitchen, has introduced a new rooftop dining and bar experience at 124 South 6th St. in Downtown Las Vegas.

The 910-square-foot, garden-style rooftop patio expands upon the vibrant vibe of the main dining room below, inviting guests to socialize and celebrate with skyline views of Las Vegas’ burgeoning downtown area. The patio offers seating for up to 30 guests at fully-waited tables along with an additional 10 seats at the expansive granite bar. Carson Kitchen’s full food menu is available for purchase on the patio to accompany an array of signature cocktails, small-batch American beers and globally-inspired wines.

Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant inside MGM Grand Hotel & Casino welcomed one of the most celebrated professional soccer players last night, as Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo stopped into the modern Cantonese restaurant to relish on signature bites and libations. Taking a much needed vacation after his outstanding performance in the 2015 World Cup matchups in Brazil, the talented Portuguese knockout enjoyed a casual night out with friends, without the company of his stunning supermodel girlfriend Irina Shayk.

Arriving to the restaurant just after 10:30 p.m., the footballer and his group sampled the Crispy Duck Salad, Jasmine Tea Smoked Short Ribs and Roasted Chilean Seabass to name a few. Seen sipping on a selection of wines throughout evening, Ronaldo and his guests chatted animatedly as they moved onto the dessert course, topping off the evening with the restaurant’s famed Exotic Fruit Platter.

Fully enjoying his time at the intimate dining destination, Ronaldo graciously thanked the Hakkasan staff and was spotted leaving the restaurant just after midnight.

Mac Miller's Performance At The “Set Your Life To Music (SYLTM)" Out Of Sight!

Thursday, July 24, “Set Your Life To Music (SYLTM)” summer concert series continued with a performance by Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller at Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Local band Black Boots kicked off the night showcasing their hybrid musical style, a combination of electronic, dance, urban, industrial indie and big room. Following, Malcolm “Mac Miller” McCormick, took the mophie stage filling Boulevard Pool with his signature throwback sound. The young emcee performed hits including “Red Dot Music,” “Watching Movies,” “Donald Trump” and “Best Day Ever.”

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas features artists at the forefront of the touring world and emerging artists that will inspire the next musical movements coupled with spectacularly-designed, technology-driven venues. Perched high above the Las Vegas Strip, Boulevard Pool is a multilevel pool experience by day and an intimate outdoor concert venue with unobstructed sightlines of both the stage and The Strip by night.

“Set Your Life To Music” returns to the Boulevard Pool on Thursday nights this summer. The highly-anticipated summer series continues with Juicy J (July 31); Rebelution with special guests Iration and DJ Mackle (Aug. 14); Interpol (Aug. 21); Theophilus London (Aug. 28); Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires (Sept. 18); and HAERTS (Oct. 2). On Wednesday, July 23 Actor Anthony Anderson, star of the upcoming shows Black-ish on ABC and Food Network’s Eating America, joined Chicken Soup for the Soul® at The Foundation Room in Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino to celebrate the launch of its newest titles, Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Dog Did What? and Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Cat Did What? by Amy Newmark.

Anderson greeted guests as he arrived to the party, cracking jokes while making his way to a VIP (Very Important Pet Lovers) “green grass” carpet. He posed for photos with excited fans as well as Chicken Soup for the Soul executives. Anderson and Newmark stopped to chat about their collaboration on an upcoming Chicken Soup for the Soul book that will spotlight the power of forgiveness. He mentioned that he will not only write the foreword but also help gather the heart-warming stories for which the brand is renowned and write his own anecdotal piece.

Anderson stopped for a special photo with Staff Sergeant Michael Malarsie and his service dog Xxon. The duo has been selected to represent the Chicken Soup for the Soul sponsored “Guide & Hearing Dog” category at The American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards on September 27. After being blinded and wounded in combat, Sergeant Malarsie met Xxon who helped him return to work as the only blind Airman serving active duty in the Air Force. Anderson took the time to thank them for their service and congratulate them on the nomination.

The event also commemorated the company’s participation at SuperZoo 2014, showcasing the brand’s signature pet food line. As guests mixed, mingled and took in The Foundation Room’s unrivaled view of the Las Vegas Strip, they enjoyed “Barktinis” and gourmet fare created with Chicken Soup for the Soul’s delectable line of soups and sauces.

Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet CEO Chris Mitchell spoke about the brand’s current projects including an upcoming feature film and a new TV show titled, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Food & Family. The show will air on PBS beginning August 9.

The couple, in town to see Lady Gaga’s artRave-The ARTPOP Ball, were joined by another couple for lunch. The brunette beauty sipped on Sugar Factory’s signature Berry Basil Mojito Goblet and the group enjoyed the eatery’s famous King Kong Sundae. The decadent dessert extravaganza is made with: 24 scoops of ice cream, cupcakes, sprinkles, caramel sauce, fudge sauce, strawberry shavings, sliced bananas, toasted walnuts, whipped cream and giant swirly pops.

Gorga was dressed in a summer chic look, casually sporting a black tank top and fedora hat while her husband opted for a T-shirt and baseball hat.

2014 Olympic Champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White will headline “Pandora Unforgettable Moments of Love on Ice” Saturday, Dec. 20 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center at 7:30 p.m. This is a love-themed show in which the stars will skate to love-inspired music with a number of songs performed live by American rock band O.A.R.
