Classic
American author Thomas Wolfe famously stated “you can’t go home again,” but
don’t tell that to the members of O.A.R. The rock group found returning home to
Maryland triggered a journey of creative renewal and inspiration when writing
music for its eighth studio album The Rockville LP. The album, featuring the
lead hit-single “Peace,” was released June 10, debuted at No. 13 on the
Billboard Top 200 Album chart and No. 1 on the Independent Albums chart.
Founded in 1996, the band has sold nearly two million albums and more than two
million concert tickets including three sold-out shows at New York City’s
Madison Square Garden.
O.A.R.
is currently on a national headline summer tour through July 26. The band plans
to kick off a fall tour in September. For more event information and tour
updates, visit ofarevolution.com, mandalaybay.com or dissonskating.com.
The
event will be broadcast on ABC in January and February 2015.
