Thursday,
July 24, “Set Your Life To Music (SYLTM)” summer concert series continued with
a performance by Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller at Boulevard Pool at The
Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Local
band Black Boots kicked off the night showcasing their hybrid musical style, a
combination of electronic, dance, urban, industrial indie and big room.
Following, Malcolm “Mac Miller” McCormick, took the mophie stage filling
Boulevard Pool with his signature throwback sound. The young emcee performed
hits including “Red Dot Music,” “Watching Movies,” “Donald Trump” and “Best Day
Ever.”
The
Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas features artists at the forefront of the touring
world and emerging artists that will inspire the next musical movements coupled
with spectacularly-designed, technology-driven venues. Perched high above the
Las Vegas Strip, Boulevard Pool is a multilevel pool experience by day and an
intimate outdoor concert venue with unobstructed sightlines of both the stage
and The Strip by night.
“Set
Your Life To Music” returns to the Boulevard Pool on Thursday nights this
summer. The highly-anticipated summer series continues with Juicy J (July 31);
Rebelution with special guests Iration and DJ Mackle (Aug. 14); Interpol (Aug.
21); Theophilus London (Aug. 28); Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires
(Sept. 18); and HAERTS (Oct. 2). Each night doors will open at 8 p.m. and the
show will begin at 9 p.m. Additional artists will be announced at a later date.
