Champion UFC middleweight fighter Luke Rockhold hosted a meet-and-greet party last night at PBR Rock Bar & Grill as part of the hot spot’s 2014 UFC International Fight Week celebration. Luke Barnatt, a fellow middleweight fighter from England, also stopped by the Strip-side party spot to greet fans and join in the Fight Week festivities.

A former Strikeforce middleweight champion, Rockhold is currently ranked No. 5 in official UFC middleweight rankings and the No. 9 middleweight in the world by a leading MMA website, Sherdog.com. The hunky athlete, known as “The Handsome Fighter,” signed autographs for fans, provided fighting tips to UFC hopefuls and expressed excitement for this weekend’s championship fight. Twisted Sister Dee Snider Enjoys Rock Of Ages Show!

Twisted Sister frontman, Dee Snider, attended Rock of Ages Friday evening, June 27 at The Venetian Las Vegas. Snider, who performed the role of “Dennis Dupree” in Rock of Ages during a three-month stint on Broadway in 2010, headed backstage following the show to share words of enthusiasm with the cast and to take a photo. Snider also shared his sentiments in a tweet saying, “What a great show! @rockofagesvegas @VenetianVegas ROCKS! Must see! What a great cast! #facemelted #nogolf #ridetolivelivetoride.”

The smash-hit musical features Two of Twisted Sister’s most famous hits, “I Wanna Rock” and “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” performed live in the show.

Hip-Hop Singer Fabolous At TAO Nightclub Vegas!

Saturday night, R&B and hip-hop sensation Fabolous hosted the night at TAO Nightclub. Upon arriving, he posed on the red carpet and took over a VIP table on the packed dance floor of excited fans. Shortly after, the Grammy award-nominated artist headed to the stage to treat revelers to a performance of several of his hit songs. Cameras flew up into the air and partygoers sang along throughout the entire show. After closing out his performance, the rapper returned to his VIP table to join his friends. 

Spotted at a neighboring VIP table enjoying Fabolous’ performance was “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes. Leakes and a group of friends spent the night taking in the party atmosphere and sounds of Justin Credible.

Come On Out To The "Night Of Fire" At Las Vegas Motor Speedway!

Southern Nevada racing fans aren’t the only ones looking forward to Thursday’s annual “Night of Fire” racing and fireworks show at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The racers themselves admit they bring a little extra to the 3/8-mile paved oval for the annual showcase event.

“It’s a big deal,” four-time track champion and current NASCAR Super Late Model points leader Scott Gafforini said of Thursday night’s event. “It’s the only big race, other than the Super Late Model open comp here, that I haven’t won. We usually get a great crowd so the atmosphere is really neat for the drivers.

“It’s a long race (76 laps), so endurance is the key. My guys have done a great job of getting this car to run cooler – even with the heat we’ve been having. I like the way things are shaping up (for Thursday).”

In addition to the 76-lap Super Late Model feature and racing in six other divisions, fans will be treated to an exhibition by the “Shocker” Monster Truck, a jet-car burn by the “MAVTV Missile” and a waterless boat race, where cars race while towing junk boats behind them. Capping the night will be a spectacular holiday fireworks display at approximately 10 p.m.

Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m., qualifying starts at 6 and racing begins at 7. In addition to the featured Super Late Model class, Super Stocks, Grand American Modifieds, Bombers, Legend Cars, Thunder Cars and Bandoleros will be in action on Thursday.

Celebrity Chef Kerry Simon's New Restaurant Carson City Is NOW OPEN!

Celebrity Chef Kerry Simon can now welcome Las Vegans “home” with the new Carson Kitchen, officially open inside the old John. E Carson Hotel at 124 South 6th St. in Downtown Las Vegas.

“I’m psyched that Carson Kitchen is finally open,” said Simon. “The overwhelming positive response means so much to me and I look forward to it becoming a staple in the downtown dining scene.”

Chef Simon partnered with restaurateur, Cory Harwell, and executive chef, Matt Andrews, to combine worldly gourmet flavors with the hip vibe of Downtown and an infusion of his own signature personality.
