Fans line up for Mike Tyson autograph session!

Hundreds of fans lined up at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens www.chateaunightclublv.com at Paris Las Vegas as legendary boxer, Mike Tyson, spent Friday afternoon signing autographs and posing for photos on the nightclub’s lavish terrace.

The knockout king stopped in for lunch a break at the delicious Sugar Factory American Brasserie, where he enjoyed pasta and the raspberry sherbet for dessert.

Once upstairs, Tyson, sporting a white t-shirt, gray jeans and white tennis shoes, was all smiles as he chewed on Twizzlers and took his place at the signing table. Before sitting down, Tyson gave fans two peace signs and shouted, “I’m all about peace and love.”

Adoring fans filed in one-by-one with boxing gloves, old pictures and other memorabilia for the superstar to sign. At one point, Tyson ended a picture with a fan by saying, “this is my song” and immediately started dancing.

NHL Props and NFL Rivalry Week..place your bets now at all Caesar's Sports Books!

Caesars Entertainment is committed to providing guests with the most innovative and exciting gaming experience and are offering sports fans the exclusive opportunity to place bets on unique NHL Props as well as NFL Rivalry Week bets.

With the first puck being dropped in less than one month, hockey fans can place fun wagers that will last the entire season utilizing the NHL Prop Bets.  Options range from betting on the over/under for the goal leader and assist leader to whether or not a Canadian-based franchise will win the 2012 Stanley Cup.  Patriotic fans who follow players from a certain country will also get the chance to bet on the goal leader from countries such as Russia , Australia and Canada .

For NFL fans who follow their team religiously, the Rivalry Week bets will allow these guests to cheer for their favorite team as well as against their rivals every week.  The bet is designed so rivalries can be matched up on a weekly basis without having to actually play each other on the field.  This innovative offer is exclusive to Caesars Entertainment sports books, and is masterminded by Todd Fuhrman, the senior sports book analyst at Caesars.  The idea of using point spreads from two separate games and creating Rivalry Week Matchups for sports fanatics to analyze and bet on opens the door to many exciting opportunities and debuts this season at all Caesars sports books.

Examples of a few of the creative NHL prop bets for the upcoming 2011-2012 Season:

Most Goals Scored – Russian Goal Leader

Alexander Ovechkin (WAS)                            -8½      -130

Ilya Kovalchuk (NYJ)                                                   Even

Will a Canadian Franchise Win the 2011-2012 Stanley Cup?

YES                                                                             +400

NO                                                                               -500

The Rivalry Week betting lines stem directly from the point spreads of the two NFL games involved in the bet.  For example, in the Border War Matchup between the historic Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears, the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints played on Sept. 8 with a point spread of Saints +4.5 and a point total of 48, which meant that the projected score for the game was 26.5 to 22, respectively.  For the other side, the point spread for the Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons game was Bears +3, with a point total of 40.5.  This generated the expected result of 18 to 21, respectively.
 Packers – 26.5 points
Bears – 18 points
Saints – 22 points
Falcons – 21 points

With these expected number of points scored for individual teams, the Rivalry Week Bets are born.  The Border War Matchup between the Packers and Bears had a point spread of Bears +8.5 (26.5 to 18), with the combined total for the two teams at 44.5.  Similarly, the NFC South Supremacy Matchup was set at Falcons +1 versus the Saints (21 to 22) with a total of 43 points.

Continues through the duration of the NHL and NFL regular seasons

Lynyrd Skynyrd new restaurant right on track at Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas!

Lynyrd Skynyrd gets first official construction tour

Lynyrd Skynyrd band members pose with dancing bartenders

Johnny Van Zant, Gary Rossington and Rickey Medlocke from Lynyrd Skynyrd were thrilled with the progress of their new restaurant and bar as they toured Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer at Excalibur Hotel & Casino today.

The restaurant slated to celebrate its grand opening in early December will feature the very best Texas barbecue from Kreuz Market, based out of Lockhart, Tex. Van Zant, Rossington and Medlocke were in Las Vegas for their sold-out concert at the M Resort, but made it a point to stop by and see the beginning of their first and only restaurant.

These rock ‘n’ roll legends were in the best of spirits and found themselves in awe of the restaurant, making mention of it being a friendly kind of cool place that they can’t wait to hang out in. Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer will have dancing bartenders and nightly performances for patrons to enjoy. Three of the ladies showed up to give the band members a sneak preview of some of their high-energy moves. Before their performance began, Van Zant shouted, “Free Bird” and then went on to say, “I’ve always wanted to stand in the audience.” As the girls finished their smokin’ hot routine, the legendary rockers clapped and whistled giving the ladies a nod for their dancing skills.

After touring the space, the band discussed an upcoming tasting, as well as a few Southern favorites they have planned for the menu. Rossington said, “All this is cool, but the food has gotta be good.” The Schmidt family of Kreuz Market has perfected their barbecue for more than 100 years, earning the restaurant the #2 spot in the nation for barbecue by Zagat.

Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer will serve mouthwatering ribs, brisket, chicken and more. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the high-energy hangout will transform into a late night, high-energy rock club every night with great music and entertainment.

Designed to capture the spirit of the band’s “Hell House,” the walls are made of authentic barnyard wood, with concrete floors and aged brick completing the downhome feel of the space. Never-before-seen Lynyrd Skynyrd relics including original album covers, guitars, artwork and photos from the bands more than five-decade-long career will be on display for fans. The staff is part of the action – hot bartenders and servers will be swinging, singing and jumping atop the bars and stage throughout the night -- leading riotous sing-alongs to classic rock songs and Lynyrd Skynyrd favorites.

KRS One at Lavo's Old School Wednesdays...POPULAR!

KRS One returned to LAVO’s Old School Wednesdays and the crowd was filled with anticipation after hearing stories of the last time “The Teacha” performed at the hot spot.  The rap and hip hop artist teased the crowd a bit, getting on the mic from his table and ramping them up for his set.  He jumped in the booth and did some mic work  for a bit with DJ Five before taking the stage, much to the crowd’s delight.  His infectious energy had the crowd going right away as every single person in the room kept their eyes (and camera phones) on him.  KRS One delivered a high impact set that included a few of his old school hits, a couple of newer songs and more than a few free styles that mesmerized the crowd as he educated the packed club on old school hard core hip hop.  He finished the night by thanking the crowd for being his “personal publicists”, having videoed his performance, and then made his way to the middle of the crowded dance floor to mingle amongst fans old and new.

Gene Simmons at The Bellagio.."The Two Biggest names in Heavy Metal!"

Gene Simmons hosted the annual Weldbend /IPD Breakfast at The Bellagio in Las Vegas on September 15, 2011. For over 60 years, Weldbend has produced carbon steel fittings and flanges and their annual breakfast is held during the ASA Convention (American Supply Association Convention). Gene Simmons founded Kiss almost 40 years ago....the event was appropriately coined, 'The Two Biggest names in Heavy Metal'.

Simmons arrived and to get things going he shared a short film about his favorite subject, Gene Simmons. He then spoke to the crowd about the importance of American ingenuity and that we need to stay in front producing quality products. He praised the Coulas family who are behind the Weldbend Brand and used them as an example of a great
American Company producing quality products and standing behind them.

Simmons took questions from the audience and gave out signed coffee mugs. He was asked what his major influences were for his music and he went on to say he is more influenced by people like Albert Einstein or Warren Buffet than other musicians but most of all, he looks for his inspiration from his mother. Simmons also spoke about his upcoming marriage to longtime partner Shannon Tweed and how they will record
the wedding for his television A&E show, 'Gene Simmons: Family Jewels" and he noted..."Never leave an opportunity untouched". Simmons also shared with the crowd the story of how he invented the 'Sign Of The Horns' Rock and Roll Hand gesture and he sourced it to the necessity to tuck his bass guitar pic in his hand when waiving to the crowd. He said everyone in the crowd was gesturing back to him with their fingers tucked and it was really an accident that took on a life of it's own.......the hand gesture along with the extended tongue out has become a universal rock and roll sign around the world.
