KRS One at Lavo's Old School Wednesdays...POPULAR!

KRS One returned to LAVO’s Old School Wednesdays and the crowd was filled with anticipation after hearing stories of the last time “The Teacha” performed at the hot spot.  The rap and hip hop artist teased the crowd a bit, getting on the mic from his table and ramping them up for his set.  He jumped in the booth and did some mic work  for a bit with DJ Five before taking the stage, much to the crowd’s delight.  His infectious energy had the crowd going right away as every single person in the room kept their eyes (and camera phones) on him.  KRS One delivered a high impact set that included a few of his old school hits, a couple of newer songs and more than a few free styles that mesmerized the crowd as he educated the packed club on old school hard core hip hop.  He finished the night by thanking the crowd for being his “personal publicists”, having videoed his performance, and then made his way to the middle of the crowded dance floor to mingle amongst fans old and new.
