COUNTRY’S ENERGY LEADERS SPOTLIGHT CITYCENTER AS “FUTURE OF CLEAN ENERGY” DURING NATIONAL CLEAN ENERGY SUMMIT 2.0 Yesterday, as part of the National Clean Energy Summit 2.0 held in Las Vegas, MGM MIRAGE welcomed the country’s energy leaders to tour CityCenter, one of the world’s largest green developments, highlighted by the Summit as a project contributing to the future of clean energy. Those in attendance included Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid; Center for American Progress Action Fund President and CEO, John Podesta; Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Chairman, Jon Wellinghoff; Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the Department of Energy, Cathy Zoi; and White House Council on Environmental Quality Special Advisor, Van Jones. The tour was led by Jim Murren, MGM MIRAGE Chairman and CEO; Cindy Ortega, Senior Vice President of Energy and Environmental Services; Bill Ham, Vice President MGM MIRAGE Design Group; and Alan Feldman, Senior Vice President Public Affairs. Next event at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway: Aug. 15 Keith Danser Kids Candy Toss The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will present the eighth annual Keith Danser Kids Candy Toss on Saturday, Aug. 15. The fun-filled evening of stock car racing also features free candy and door prizes for the young race fans. The annual Keith Danser Kids Candy Toss was started in 2002 by Bullring Charger driver Keith Danser. Although Keith has since retired and moved to the Midwest, the promotion lives on in his name. On-track action includes the second appearance by the SuperClean Modified Series tour, MetroPCS Super Late Models, Chargers, Bombers, Legends Cars and Bandoleros. The Bullring's concession stand offers a family-friendly dollar menu, including $1 hot dogs, $1 soda and $1 beer.
