The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hosts a meet and greet with NASCAR Hall-of-Famer “The King” Richard Petty at its new Race & Sports Book powered by CG Technology. The event is complimentary and open to the public.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Richard Petty began his NASCAR career in 1958. Nicknamed “The King,” Petty won seven Winston Cup championships, seven Daytona 500s and a record of 200 races throughout his career. After more than 35 years in the sport, Petty went on to retire in 1992 and was later inducted in the inaugural NASCAR Hall of Fame class in 2010. Petty currently resides in his hometown of Level Cross, North Carolina where he operates Richard Petty Motorsports with his family. His only son Kyle Petty is also a former NASCAR driver.
