Meet The Artist! Photos Of Glenwood Power Plant

April 2 at 5:00pm to Apr 29 at 9:00pm

Meet the Artist 5pm-8pm this Thursday. An ongoing project that began in 2009, inspired by exploring abandoned spaces. Enjoy this series of photos taken in the Glenwood Power Plant in New York just north of Manhattan. Glenwood was built in 1906- abandoned in 1963; the plant - a sprawling 175,000 sq. ft of brick and rusted steel. Sunlight passes through rows of arched windows bringing this decaying giant back to life. Exploration is an integral part of Jay's creative process and has led him to find beauty in the unconventional.
