Enjoy Craft Beers? Specialty Paired Dinner At Tbones Chophouse Coming Up

Tbones Chophouse & Lounge invites guests to sip on tasty brews and appetizing plates with a delicious evening of beer and food pairings featuring the distinguished craft beers from Dogfish Head Brewery on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Guests will enjoy a multi-course dinner, paired with a selection of Dogfish Head ales including Burton Baton, Namaste, Midas Touch, Tweason Ale and 90 Minute IPA. This special dinner is priced at $95 (excluding tax and gratuity) per person and will feature the following pairings:
          
Passed Apps
Beer-battered cheese curds with grilled apricot and house made hot sauce
Beer-marinated grilled hangar steak with spring onion and chimichurri
Dogfish Head Burton Baton

First Course
Prosciutto and melon salad with beer cheese fondue, watercress, shaved pretzel and Agrumato
Dogfish Head Namaste

Second Course
Razor clams with saffron beer broth, garlic, Espelette and ramp butter
Dogfish Head Midas Touch

Third Course
Buttermilk fried quail with spring succotash, lemon sorrel and warm honey
Dogfish Head Tweason Ale

Fourth Course
Grilled veal rib cap with smoked Yukon, tomato demi, tri-colored asparagus and Vidalia onion ash
Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA

Founded in 1995, Dogfish Head Brewing Company is a brewery based in Milton, Delaware. The company was started by Sam Calagione and takes its name from Dogfish Head, Maine where Calagione would spend his childhood summers. Since its inception the company had expanded from producing only one ale to over 40 delicious and creative brews. The brewery has received National recognition after being featured prominently in the documentary Beer Wars as well as being the subject of the Discovery Channel series Brew Masters.

Select Dogfish Head brews, including many of the brewery’s seasonal and one off selections, can be purchased in 31 states in the U.S. In addition, the company owns three licensed Dogfish Head Alehouse locations in Maryland and Virginia. Beer-paired food and vintage bottles of their seasonal beers are available at their alehouses, as well as kegged offerings of their staple beers.

Thursday, April 9, 2015, at 6 p.m. Passed hors d’oeuvres will be served on the patio at 5:30 p.m.
