the People is Los Angeles based trio Mark Foster, Cubby Fink and Mark Pontius.
"Like Empire of the Sun or Phoenix after a summer in California and a few
hours in the freezer, Foster the People play chilled-out dance floor-ready
indie-pop with enough chops to keep the group from being a season's guilty
pleasure," explains the L.A. Times.
The
past years have been an incredible time of growth for Foster The People, who
have previously played at The Cosmopolitan. The trio received two Grammy®
nominations for 'Best Alternative Album' and 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.'
This news comes on the heels of the band's gold certification of their
celebrated album Torches, which gained global attention with its Top 10
Billboard chart debut in May.
