Schoolboy
Q will perform a second show at Hard Rock Live on Friday, April 4, with Isaiah
Rashad, Vince Staples, and Audio Push.
Meeting
popular demand, hip hop artist Schoolboy Q has added an 11:30 p.m. show after
the 8 p.m. show sold out. Touring in support of his recently released album,
Oxymoron, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, Schoolboy Q’s lyrical
anthems and socially conscious numbers have brought him to prominence in the
hip hop industry.
After years in the mixtape underground,
Schoolboy Q caught the attention of Kendrick Lamar, with whom he formed the
collective, Black Hippy, along with Jay Rock and Ab-Soul, before releasing two
other full-length solo albums, Habits & Contradictions (2012) and Setbacks
(2011).
Schoolboy
Q will be joined by fellow Top Dawg artist Isaiah Rashad, who recently released
the EP, Cilvia Demo, as well as Vince Staples, who recently released his fourth
mixtape, Shyne Coldchain Vol. 2, and hip hop duo Audio Push.
