The
Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will host the PSCA Record Breaker Nationals
this weekend. The event is the season-opener for the popular drag racing series
and thefirst professional drag-racing activity this year at the facility. The
Pacific Street Car Association (www.PSCAracing.com) is famous for its heads-up,
first-car-to-the-finish-line-wins style of“doorslammer” drag racing at speeds
in excess of 240 miles per hour.
Spectator gates will open at 9 a.m. on Sunday
for eliminations. Eliminations will start at 10:30 a.m. Sunday adult admission
is $20 and $6 for kids ages 6-12. Children 5 and under are free.
