One
Nevada Credit Union is pleased to announce its fall Shred Day event on Oct. 19.
This free, community-wide event provides free document shredding and raises
awareness about identity theft while giving back to the community.
The
Community Shred Day will be held on Saturday Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
at the Craig/Ferrell branch located at 3117 W. Craig Rd., N. Las Vegas, NV
89032.
One
Nevada has partnered with The PaperPros at Opportunity Village to safely and
securely collect documents for destruction. To ensure the safety and security
of our community, Opportunity Village provides state-of-the-art scanning and
shredding equipment that exceeds NRS and NAID requirements. In addition,
Opportunity Village will also be onsite collecting items for their Thrift
Store. They welcome donations of clothing, furniture, household goods, sporting
equipment, books, toys, décor, camping equipment, computers and other items.
Members
and nonmembers are encouraged to bring up to three boxes of personal documents
for shredding.
One
Nevada Branch Manager Corie Condon commented, “It gives me great pride to be
part of an organization that cares so much about our member-owners and
community to sponsor this free Shred Day.”
