Saturday,
April 20 LAX Nightclub inside Luxor Hotel and Casino welcomed actor, television
host and rapper Shad Gregory Moss, better known as Bow Wow, as he hosted an
unforgettable evening with clubgoers.
The
hip-hop star made his way through the packed crowd, where hundreds of adoring
fans snapped pictures of the well-known rapper and shouted his name as he
passed by. Bow Wow and his entourage took a minute to settle into their VIP
table as he approached the DJ booth to introduce himself and his crew to LAX
Nightclub’s resident DJ Wellman.
At
1:30 a.m., Bow Wow hopped on the mic to address the mega-club, “If you’re ready
to party, make some noise LAX,” the rapper said. “Since we’re all here to have
a good time, let me start off by saying what happens in Vegas” (pausing for a
moment, waiting for the crowd to say along with him) “stays in Vegas,” and made
his way to center stage to cozy up to a group of lucky ladies at a nearby
table. The talented artist kicked-off his set with his fitting song “I Think
They Like Me,” as he serenaded them with his vocals and flirtatious demeanor. Bow Wow took a minute to describe his close
relationship with R&B singer Omarion as he started in with his next song
“Do It Like We” featuring the popular artist. The charming singer went on to
perform one of his smash hits off his Underrated album “Ain’t Thinkin Bout You”
whom he collaborated with Chris Brown.
Bow
Wow raised the energy of the hot spot by informing the crowd of his Cash Money
Records background. He then covered songs by other mega-artists under the label
such as 2 Chainz, Drake and one of Bow Wow’s personal mentors Lil Wayne.
Shortly after 2 a.m., the singer headed back into the DJ booth to address the
crowd one last time saying, “ Thank you for letting me share this moment with
you all and no matter if you’re from the East or West Coast, know that I thank
you for all of the support throughout the years,” he said. “Now let’s keep
drinking,” as he toasted to the awe-inspired crowd.
Bow
Wow made for an incredible performance at the club that brings Hollywood
nightlife to Sin City. He is continuing to work on his music along with
guest-hosting on BET’s 106 & Park. The multi-talented star can also be seen
in the recently released comedy/thriller Scary Movie 5.
