Commonwealth
will introduce a new night combining the style community and Downtown Las Vegas
with the launch of “Wednesdays,” a weekly event fusing art, music and fashion,
beginning Wednesday, Feb. 6.
Fashionistas
will don their standout attire and raise a glass to culture while enjoying the
chic atmosphere with Commonwealth’s pre-Prohibition decor and expertly-crafted
libations. Mixologist Juyoung Kang will create signature “Common” and “Wealth”
menus for the weekly event including specialty Stoli vodka cocktails, blended
cocktails with Moet champagne and Hennessy selections. Partygoers will
experience live performances on the 2,000-square-foot rooftop by talent curated
from Los Angeles, New York and Las Vegas and selected art installations
throughout the venue.
Named
“one of seven reasons to visit Downtown Las Vegas” by the New York Post,
Commonwealth brings a stylish new social scene to the burgeoning bar district
in Downtown Las Vegas. The swanky 6,000-square-foot cocktail bar is a collision
of art and architectural influences inspired by pre-Prohibition era design and
libations; complete with its very own backroom speakeasy. Crystal chandeliers
bring a touch of elegance to the overall design, which evokes a worn,
industrial ambiance. The cocktail menu combines classic and progressive methods
and ingredients to offer drinks like, “Let’s Get Naked and See Who’s Stronger”
and “Little Hot Mess,” that make an indelible impression. A rooftop bar offers
an experiential setting with an urban brick feel and 360 degree views of
downtown.
Located
at 525 E. Fremont St., Commonwealth is open Wednesday through Friday from 6
p.m. to close and 8 p.m. to close on Saturday and Sunday. More information is
available by calling 702.798.7000, at www.CommonwealthLV.com, on Facebook and
