On
Sunday, August 12, Club Bud brought out Swizz Beatz who headlined the room full
of celebrating Olympians. Kobe and his teammates made the night a family affair
as they partied with their wives; Carmelo and Lala Anthony kept the company of
Kobe and his wife Vanessa as both women happened to be wearing leopard print
dresses. Kobe rarely left his wife’s
side and while the pair refused to take photos together, they were very
affectionate as he had one arm draped across her body while she danced against
him.
Swizz
Beatz kept the party going, playing “We Will Rock You” by Queen as he invited
the USA Men’s basketball team on stage with him. He took the energy up a notch
and dropped a crowd favorite “N***** in Paris”, which got the entire basketball
team dancing. Soon enough Swizz began spraying the crowd with champagne in
celebration of their big win.
Rap
superstar Nas joined Swizz on stage and closed out the party with a surprise
performance that had the nearly 2,000 people singing and celebrating until the
hours of the early morning.
