The
world-famous Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas is the longest-running comedy club on
the Las Vegas Strip. The Improv’s ability to showcase young comedians, as well
as bring in big names, has attributed to its longevity and success.
Each
week, The Improv showcases three of the funniest and freshest faces in comedy,
creating a show that is always unique and definitely funny. The comedians who
will perform April 3 – April 8 are:
John
Caponera: John Caponera got his comedy start at a talent show in a local bar in
Chicago and is now the star of his own sitcom “The Good Life” and the host of
Comedy Central’s sport show “Jocks.” Caponera is considered a comic's comic – a
true professional offering a mix of material from topical to impressions and
characterizations to stories and one-liners.
Katsy
Chappell: Voted entertainer of the year by the Bob Hope United Service
Organizations shows, Katsy Chappell was a semi-finalist on “Star Search” with
Ed MacMahon. Chappell has performed all over the world, from Madison Square
Garden to Africa . Some of Katsy's film credits include playing opposite Jamie
Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger in “True Lies” and “Yes Man,” as well as
the television show “ER.”
Kenny
Kane: Combining the frenetic pace of Robin Williams, the absurdity of Steve
Martin and the physicality of Jim Carrey, Kenny Kane is a fan-favorite regular
at The Improv in Las Vegas . He has been heard by millions of listeners on “The
Bob & Tom Show” and was seen regularly as host, stand-up and sketch
comedian on UPN’s “Seriously Unusual Television Network.” Most recently, Kane
was a guest on Fox's “Talkshow with Spike Feresten.”
