The new,
state-of-the-art FanVision controller will be available to fans during NASCAR
Weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The hand-held device will be available for
rent or sale at locations on the midway.
FanVision
users will be able to watch the race broadcast, monitor eight different in-car
cameras, see instant replays, listen to each team’s radio transmissions and
enjoy high-quality audio. FanVision also offers driver updates and comparisons,
race results, driver statistics, current point standings, NASCAR news and track
information maps. This is the ideal way for NASCAR fans to enhance their Kobalt
Tools 400, Sam’s Town 300 and Stratosphere Pole Day experiences at LVMS.
NASCAR Weekend at the superspeedway kicks off
on Friday, March 9 with Stratosphere Pole Day. The NASCAR Nationwide Series
takes center stage on Saturday, March 10 with the annual Sam’s Town 300 at 2
p.m. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Kobalt Tools 400 is scheduled to start at
noon on Sunday, March 11.
The race weekend begins Wednesday, March 7
with IMCA Modified and West Coast Late Model racing at the recently-resurfaced
half-mile Dirt Track. The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Series will take command
of the clay oval on Thursday, March 8 and will be joined by the 360 Sprint Car
Series and IMCA Modifieds.
