Last year, Cesar Millan (@cesarmillan) proved once again that he is the leader of the pack when it comes to rehabilitating dogs and training people, with the successful launch of his new Nat Geo WILD series, Cesar 911. And now, for the first time, Nat Geo WILD brings to the small screen Millan’s live stage show that has traveled the world, in a two-hour special, Cesar Millan: Viva Las Vegas!, premiering Friday, Feb. 20, at 9/8c, before the return of Cesar 911 the following week on Friday, Feb. 27, at 9/8c. Goodwill Of Southern NV Receives $200,000 Check From BOA

Bank of America announced Goodwill of Southern Nevada as the recipient of its $200,000 Neighborhood Builders grant during an annual community celebration at The Smith Center.

The Neighborhood Builders grant will provide a financial boost to Goodwill's Veteran Integration Program (VIP) – which provides coordinated job training and employment services tailored to veterans, and their families’, unique needs.  Since its inception two years ago, Goodwill’s VIP has helped more than 500 local veterans and immediate family members find work and become self-supporting. The grant is projected to assist approximately 225 veterans and/or family members find work in Southern Nevada over a two-year period.

Also at The Smith Center celebration, Bank of America announced more than $2 million in financial support for 75-plus Southern Nevada community nonprofits. The event provided a unique opportunity for Las Vegas' nonprofit leaders to come together and celebrate successes within our community.

Year Of The Sheep Chinese New Year Events Happen At The Gold Coast

The Year of the Sheep kicks off at The Gold Coast Hotel and Casino with the return of the annual Dragon Dance and exciting new events to celebrate Chinese New Year.

On Feb. 17, 2015, Grammy-nominated artist iLoveMakonnen gave a special performance at LiFE Nightclub inside SLS Las Vegas, as Karmaloop hosted the hottest 2015 Fashion Week party on The Strip. The 25-year-old hip hop star arrived at LiFE around 12:30 a.m. and welcomed fans as he walked the red carpet before entering the venue. In true iLoveMakonnen style, he immediately displayed high energy as he performed “Look at Wrist,” followed by his smash hit “Tuesday,” which had the party ‘going up’ on a typical Tuesday night.

After the performance, iLoveMakonnen and his crew partied at a private VIP booth, while DJ Franzen dropped hip hop club bangers the rest of the night. The group sipped on Hennessey and partied until the early morning.

Pahrump Hot Air Balloon Festival: Dozens of colorful hot air balloons will ascend to the skies during Pahrump’s Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival.  The three-day family-friendly festival will bring together more than 20 hot air balloon pilots from the western states, a drone and fixed wing aircraft exhibition demonstrating top-notch aviation skills, a carnival featuring classic carnival games and rides, and several food and craft vendors.

Guests will have the opportunity to hover and enjoy the scenic views of Pahrump high above the ground with tethered balloon rides.  On Saturday night the skies will be illuminated by a spectacular balloon glow light show that will light up the sky for miles.
