Ruccello Olive Oil’s first private label balsamic vinegars will be available on its website starting Aug. 1.

Ruccello Olive Oil, founded in 2017 by Monterey native RoseAnne Ruccello-Fischer, specializes in Extra Virgin Olive Oils from the Tuscany region in Italy and from California, as well as hand-crafted olive wood items, locally made olive oil soaps and lotions and handmade aprons.

The new line features four balsamic vinegars, including a Dark Chocolate Balsamic Reserve Vinegar (8.5 fluid ounces); a Honey Balsamic Reserve Vinegar (8.5 fl oz.); Cask 5 Organic Balsamic Vinegar (16.9 fl oz.); and Cask 25 Balsamic Vinegar (16.9 fl oz.). All the vinegars are gluten-free, with no artificial flavorings, thickening agents, caramel or additives added. May contain sulfites.

All four vinegars originate in Modena, Italy, and were bottled by the Olive Oil Source. They will be available Aug. 1, at ruccellooliveoil.com.

"The Hangover Bar" At Madame Tussauds LV Opens With Scheana Shay & Thunder Down Under

Yesterday afternoon, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas welcomed stunning reality star Scheana Shay and the internationally acclaimed dancers of Thunder From Down Under as they hosted the official opening of The Hangover Bar. Kicking off around 1 p.m., the “Vanderpump Rules” starlet alongside the Thunder blokes made their way to The Hangover Bar and welcomed guests. With signature cocktails in hand, Scheana and the Thunder men toasted the official opening of the hottest new bar.

As the event went on, the Thunder gents announced that they would be debuting their shot, Thunder Spank, as the first shooter of the Celebrity Shot Series. Mixed with Malibu Rum, Midori Sour and pineapple juice the guys handed out shots to the crowd and took the first taste. The event was a sight to see as guests took photos and continued through the Hangover experience and officially welcomed The Hangover Bar to the Vegas Strip.

Gavin DeGraw & Philip Phillips To Perform At The Pearl At Palms Casino

Two of the most prolific singer-songwriters of all time, Gavin DeGraw and Phillip Phillips, embark on a summer co-headlining tour with a stop at the intimate Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort on Friday, Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $45 plus applicable fees and are on sale now.

Multi-platinum-selling singer, performer and songwriter Gavin DeGraw first broke through with the 2003 release of his debut album, Chariot, which sold more than 1 million copies, earned platinum certification and yielded three hit singles: “I Don’t Want To Be,” “Follow Through” and the title-track, “Chariot.”

DeGraw’s self-titled second album debuted at No. 1 on the digital sales chart and at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart in 2008, earning Gavin his first Top 10 album. It spawned the hit singles “In Love With A Girl,” which Billboard dubbed “a rocking homerun,” and the gold-certified “We Belong Together.” In 2009, he released Free as a gift to his die-hard fans clamoring for recorded versions of DeGraw’s live favorites. His third studio album, Sweeter, was released in September 2011 and produced the smash single, “Not Over You,” co-written with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder. The track reached No. 1 on the Hot AC charts, was a top 10 hit on Top 40, and was certified double platinum. In 2013, DeGraw released his fourth studio album, Make A Move, which included single “Best I Ever Had” and garnered rave reviews. In addition, DeGraw was nominated for his first GRAMMY for “We Both Know,” the song he co-wrote with Colbie Caillat for the 2013 film, “Safe Haven.”

Since then he has been consistently touring around the world, including sold out dates with the legendary Billy Joel and hit a milestone with the release of his first greatest hits compilation titled Finest Hour in the fall of 2014. DeGraw’s fifth studio album, Something Worth Saving, released in 2016 through his longtime label RCA Records, featured the hit single “She Sets The City On Fire.”

Platinum-selling singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips recently completed a North American headline tour in support of his new album Collateral which was released Jan. 19 on Interscope Records. The set follows the release of Phillips’ sophomore album Behind The Light and features the tracks “Into The Wild,” “Miles,” “Magnetic,” and “Dance With Me,” a song Phillips penned, along with his friend Tim Bruns, for his 2015 wedding to longtime girlfriend Hannah Blackwell.

Since releasing his five-times-platinum debut single “Home” in spring 2012, Phillips has released two chart-topping albums and taken his expansive brand of earthy, guitar-fueled rock to stages across the globe. With his soulful vocals and ruggedly warm sensibilities, the Georgia-bred 26-year-old saw his first full-length effort, The World from the Side of the Moon, reach platinum after debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200. In 2014, his second album, Behind the Light, offered up the lead anthemic folk-rock radio hit “Raging Fire.”

Oscar’s steakhouse inside the Plaza Hotel & Casino has unveiled new dinner and bar menus that continue the restaurant’s award-winning tradition of offering delicious entrees and handcrafted cocktails, all inspired by friends and family of former Las Vegas mob attorney and Mayor Oscar B. Goodman. The restaurant also debuted Oscar’s “Black Book” that provides Oscar’s own personal back stories for the names of individual dishes.

Getting Out To The LVMS Just Became Easier! Front-Stretch Shuttle Service To Kick Off For South Point 400 Week-End

Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s new Front-Stretch Shuttle will offer the closest possible drop-off and pick-up location available during the South Point 400 weekend.

“We expect Front-Stretch Shuttle to provide the best transit experience we’ve ever had at Las Vegas Motor Speedway,” LVMS President Chris Powell said. “Fans will love the new pick-up and drop-off location at the speedway, and it will make their travel to and from the track virtually worry free. We’re always looking for ways to improve our fan experience at LVMS, and we’re confident Front-Stretch Shuttle will do exactly that.”

With no waiting to load, each patron will have a reserved seat on a climate-controlled luxury motor coach. Front-Stretch Shuttle will travel a dedicated, time-saving route avoiding all highway and Las Vegas Boulevard traffic.

Upon arrival at LVMS, each motor coach will park at the drag strip, within sight of and a very short walk to the main entrance gate. Every rider will receive a premium goodie bag, including an official souvenir program.

Five convenient pick-up points have been established for Front-Stretch Shuttle and will be run by staff trained to assist in dispatch, loading and unloading. Rides will originate from convenient Strip locations at Tropicana, Treasure Island, Planet Hollywood and Stratosphere, while downtown service is scheduled from Main Street Station.

The following daily departure times have been established for each hotel: Friday, Sept. 14 – 3 p.m. Pacific Time; Saturday, Sept. 15 – 10 a.m.; and Sunday, Sept. 16 – 8 a.m. Boarding will begin 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time of hotel departure.

Each day, one-hour after the checkered flag, Front-Stretch Shuttle will depart LVMS.

Decorating Burgers & Ice Cream Cupcakes Class Coming To Freed's Bakery!

Freed’s Bakery, a family-owned establishment of 59 years and featured bakery on Food Network’s hit show “Vegas Cakes,” will sweeten up the end of summer with hamburger and ice cream cupcake decorating classes beginning Thursday, August 2 through Friday, August 10.

Parents, children and cupcake lovers everywhere are invited to whip up burgers and ice cream in cupcake form at Freed’s Bakery. The 15 and 20-minute crash courses are designed for children and their parents to kick off the new school year with a fun, no-experience necessary activity. 

Hamburger cupcake classes will run 15 minutes long and be held on Saturday, August 4 and Thursday, August 9. Ice cream cupcake decorating classes will run 20 minutes long and be held separately on Thursday, August 2 and Friday, August 10.

The purchase of a spot will include cupcakes for each group to decorate and take home. All materials, tools and instructions will be provided.
