MMA Stars Coming To Vegas! They Will Be At The Venetian & The Palazzo

 Las Vegas is the fight capital of the world and on Feb. 4 and 5, mixed martial arts stars converge on The Venetian® and The Palazzo® Las Vegas for the Fighters Only Eighth Annual World MMA Awards. Hosted by “The California Kid” Urijah Faber and Alison Haislip, the Fighters Only World MMA Awards will recognize the best athletes and moments in mixed martial arts from 2015.

It all kicks off on Feb. 4 at 7:00 p.m. with the “Knock Out an MMA Fighter” DeepStack Extravaganza poker tournament, hosted by Urijah Faber. Joining Faber in the tournament is Women’s Strawweight division rising star Paige VanZant. The bounty tournament boasts a $300 buy-in and a $15,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players receive a $100 bounty for every player they knock out in the tournament. If a player knocks out an MMA fighter, they will also receive autographed memorabilia. More participating fighters will be announced soon.

On Feb. 5 at 5:00 p.m., fans can rub elbows with their favorite fighters during a glamorous red carpet in The Palazzo’s Waterfall Atrium. Brian Stann, Chris Weidman, Luke Rockhold, Arianny Celeste, and Brittney Palmer are just a few of the stars who have walked the red carpet in previous years.

After the awards, guests can join their favorite athletes and stars of the show at the Official World MMA Awards after-party inside Lagasse’s Stadium at The Palazzo at 10:00 p.m. on Feb. 5. Fans will enjoy a lounge-like atmosphere with a live DJ, bottle service, and limited food menu from TV’s “Chopped” champion and resident Lagasse’s Stadium chef, Scott Pajak. Space is limited. Throwback Thursdays At LAX Debuted With Vanilla Ice

The year was 1991 for Throwback Thursday at LAX inside Luxor Hotel and Casino last night (Thursday, Jan. 21) and audiences were transported through time with musical icon Vanilla Ice! Big City Showdown W/Findlay College Prep VS Bishop Gorman Game Is Tomorrow!

South Point Hotel hosts the seventh annual Big City Showdown (BCS), sponsored by Findlay Toyota, as Las Vegas’ top high school basketball teams, Findlay College Prep and Bishop Gorman, take the court for the season’s most anticipated basketball match up.
