South Point Hotel hosts the seventh annual Big City Showdown (BCS), sponsored by Findlay Toyota, as Las Vegas’ top high school basketball teams, Findlay College Prep and Bishop Gorman, take the court for the season’s most anticipated basketball match up. The game will be broadcasted live on AM-920 with Seat Williams, Jorge Gonzalez and Mark Seidel from the heat of the action.
Last year’s event attracted a near sold out crowd of students, entertainers, politicians, professional athletes and local sports fans who witnessed Findlay Prep take the game with a 50 – 49 victory.
In addition to the BCS matchup, additional tournament games include:
· Liberty High School Ladies vs. Bishop Gorman High School Ladies at 11 a.m.;
· Liberty High School vs. Durango High School at 12:45 p.m.;
· Taft High School vs. Centennial High School at 2:30 p.m.
