Michael Franti, musician, humanitarian and children’s book author, is recognized as a pioneering force by using music as a vehicle for positive change through his unforgettable, high energy shows with his band, Spearhead. With the multi-platinum success of his song “Say Hey (I Love You)” and the chart-breaking 2010 release of The Sound Of Sunshine, Franti and his band guarantee a show that will be thought provoking as well as a fun dance party. THE ROCKVILLE LP, recorded in Nashville, Bethesda, MD and Brooklyn, NY, is the band’s most recent album and features some of O.A.R.’s most diverse, intricate songs. Bold horn arrangements weave in and out of several of the tunes including “Irish Rose,” “Caroline the Wrecking Ball” and “The Architect,” a song adored by longtime fans but one O.A.R. had never before committed to an album.

For the second consecutive year, actor and comedian Kevin Hart, HartBeat Productions and iGo Marketing & Entertainment will bring their wildly popular HartBeat Weekend to The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Sept. 5 and 6, 2015. Hosted by Hart, the weekend will feature two comedy shows at The Chelsea, Drake at  Boulevard Pool and celebrity appearances at Marquee Nightclub.

American Idol alumnus and singer/songwriter Trevor Douglas will perform two live sets at the Red Rock Bay wave pool. Douglas, whose influences include Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Jason Mraz, was featured as one of the top 12 male performers on American Idol Season XIV. Douglas will be available for a meet-and-greet with fans after his sets.

This concert event is part of the park’s weekend series events, which include Dive-In Movies on Friday nights and the Saturday Sessions on Saturday evenings.  As Las Vegas’ Summer Playground, Wet‘n’Wild is dedicated to providing wholesome, fun events fit for the entire family.
