On May 1st, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover Model Hannah Davis hosted an exclusive pool party at Foxtail® Pool Club inside SLS Las Vegas®, where EDM prodigy Makj delivered an epic performance to celebrate the highly anticipated ‘Fight of the Century.’

Hannah Davis was joined by the other beautiful ladies of Sports Illustrated, including Kelly Rohrbach, Anastasia Ashley, Genevieve Morton and Hailey Clauson, who posed for photos with adoring fans and signed numerous autographs as guests partied with them at Vegas’ sexiest new dayclub. They then retreated to their VIP section and enjoyed a delicious variety of specialty dishes from Foxtail® Pool Club’s signature menu.

The crowd went wild as famous celebrities made surprise appearances at the party, including G-Unit founder/rapper 50 Cent, professional football players Emmanuel Sanders and Darrelle Revis, lead singer of the Killers Brandon Flowers, former Cage Warriors Featherweight and Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor, recent World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Lennox Lewis, professional boxers Roy Jones Jr. and “Sugar” Shane Mosley, and famous fashion designer Trista Pisani. The stars appeared exclusively for the ‘Sports Illustrated Now’ live filming, which documented the explosive event.

Comedian Dave Chappelle was also spotted at the party with his crew. Drinking Stella and popping bottles of Veuve, the group partied all afternoon and gladly took photos with their fans.

Beltran Vs. Ao & Ponomarev Vs. Zewski Fights Draw Record Crowd At The Cosmopolitan

World contender Sugar Ray Beltran of Los Mochis, Mexico, scored a stunning, staggering technical knockout of two-time world champion Takahari Ao of Japan live on truTV® and in front of a near sold-out crowd inside The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Friday, May 1.  The lively event served as the premiere of Top Rank’s new boxing series, Metro PCS Friday Night Knockout on truTV®.

Among the enthusiastic crowd were notable names in attendance including actors Liev Schreiber and Ben Schwartz, actress Gina Rodriguez, George Foreman Jr., Top Rank CEO Bob Arum and boxers Paul Malignaggi, Ruslan Provodnikov, Victor Ortiz, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., Tim Bradley, Terence Crawford, Jessie Vargas and Diego Magdaleno.

Beltran was scheduled to fight for the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) Lightweight title in the main bout against Takahiro Ao, who was looking to become only the third fighter from Japan to win a world championship in three weight divisions.  However, only Ao could win the title as Beltran was slightly over the weight limit.  Beltran prevented Ao from taking the title though, unleashing a brutal physical attack which sent Ao crashing down twice, the last time curled in a heap.

"I knew this was a tough fight going in as Ao was a former world champion," Beltran remarked. "But I hurt him with an overhand right punch, then took him out with hard combinations. This was a super-big win."

 

Ponomarev vs. Zewski

There were six bouts on the card, including Russian-born Konstantin Ponomarev, with new trainer Abel Sanchez, stunning Mikael Zewski of Quebec in a 99-91, 98-93, 97-93 decision in a 10-round light heavyweight bout; and hometown star Jessie Magdaleno, 20-0, of Las Vegas, scoring a dominating eight-round win over rugged Raul Hirales Jr., 22-4-1, of La Paz, Mexico in a featherweight bout.

Full Live Concert By 50 Cent At Drai's For Fight Week-End In Vegas!

Kicking off three days and three nights of world-class entertainment in celebration of Fight Weekend, Drai's Beachclub • Nightclub at The Cromwell in Las Vegas hosted a full-length live concert by rapper 50 Cent last night.  The performance was part of Drai's LIVE, a new live concert series put on by the 65,000 square foot indoor/outdoor rooftop hotspot.

Joining 50 Cent at both the VIP tables and on stage were rappers Tyga, Busta Rhymes, Twista and Yo Gotti.  The concert was opened with a special DJ set from Funkmaster Flex.

Other celebrities who stopped by to take in all the action included: actor Omari Hardwick; NFL player for Baltimore Ravens Terrell Suggs; actress KD Aubert; and reality star Natalie Nunn.

Great American Shake Sale Going On! Help Fight Childhood Hunger!

The Great American Shake Sale is a company-wide cause marketing initiative taking place May 1-31, 2015, at all U.S. Shake Shacks (excluding stadiums and airports). The goal is to raise awareness and funds for No Kid Hungry in its effort to end childhood hunger in America, where 1 in 5 children do not have consistent access to adequate food.

Throughout May, Shake Shack guests who donate $2 or more to No Kid Hungry will receive a card for a complimentary hand-spun shake—valued at $5—redeemable on their next visit. One hundred percent of donations will benefit No Kid Hungry.

Thanks to the incredible support of its guests in 2014, Shake Shack surpassed its goal to raise $300,000 by more than $38,000. This year, Shake Shack’s new goal is to raise $350,000. If reached, Shake Shack will achieve the significant milestone of donating a total of $1 million to No Kid Hungry in the four years since the launch of the Great American Shake Sale. Talk about custard for a cause!

Donations to No Kid Hungry help connect children to the healthy food they need through essential nutrition programs like school breakfast, summer meals and classes that educate low-income families on how to cook healthy, affordable foods. Just $2 can provide kids with 20 meals. If Shake Shack reaches its goal to raise $350,000 this year, that’s 3.5 million additional meals for hungry children in America.

Helldorado Days Are Coming To Vegas!

Categories for the Whiskerino Contest include: longest beard, best groomed beard, most unique beard, longest moustache, best moustache, best goatee, best overall and audience favorite.
