Sarah Colonna and Iliza Shlesinger will take the stage in “LIPSHTICK – The Perfect Shade of Standup” on Saturday, May 2 at The Venetian Las Vegas. The standup stars will share the stage at the Sands Showroom for one night only. Tickets are now on sale.

Sarah Colonna is a New York Times bestselling author, who just released her second book, “Has Anyone Seen My Pants?” The comedian, actress, and roundtable regular on the hit E! Network show “Chelsea Lately,” was named by Daily Variety as one of its “Top 10 Comics to Watch.” Her first book, “Life as I Blow It,” was released in 2012.

Iliza Shlesinger, who in 2008 became the youngest and only female comedian to win “Last Comic Standing,” has taken audiences by storm with her sharp humor. Shlesinger just released “Freezing Hot,” an hour-long comedy special exclusively available on Netflix. Foodie Alert!! Great American Foodie Fest Starts Tomorrow!

Red Dragon will host the Great American Foodie Fest, formerly known as Las Vegas Foodie Fest, from Thursday, April 30, through Sunday, May 3, outside the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

Great American Foodie Fest will feature more than 30 food trucks and specialty vendors from across the country along with carnival rides, games, entertainment and more. Red Dragon previously hosted six bi-annual Las Vegas Foodie Fest events before expanding to San Diego from March 27-29, changing the name to Great American Foodie Fest.

Individual general admission to Great American Foodie Fest will start at $8 per day, or $11 for an unlimited weekend pass, if purchased in advance; and $10 per day, or $13 for an unlimited weekend pass, if purchased at the gate.

Participating food trucks will include White Castle’s Crave Mobile and celebrity trucks from The Food Network, History Channel, Cooking Channel and Travel Channel, along with local and national truck favorites.

Seventh annual Paint the Town fine art fundraising gala to benefit Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN)

Support HIV/AIDS awareness, celebrate creativity and bid on original artwork at the seventh annual Paint the Town gala benefitting Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN), hosted by The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Friday, May 8, from 8-11 p.m. Previously only open to invited guests, this is the first year the event is open to the public.

Multi-Talented Singer/Performer Earl Turner At Suncoast 5/30 &5/31

Multi-talented entertainer and showman Earl Turner returns to the Suncoast Showroom May 30 and 31.

Turner began performing at the age of 13, and by age 19, he was traveling the country as a front man with various show bands. As a solo artist, Turner scored a top 40 dance hit in Europe in the mid-1980s with "Love Caught You By Surprise." Turner’s career spans the screens and the stage, as a singer, songwriter, musician, dancer and actor.

A renowned Las Vegas performer, Turner has appeared at numerous resorts and showrooms across the U.S. His accolades include being honored as Male Vocalist of the Year by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and being named one of New Orleans Magazine’s People to Watch in 2005. He was inducted into the New Orleans Music Hall of Fame the same year.

Turner works closely with a number of prominent charities, including the Special Olympics, Opportunity Village of Las Vegas and the Blood Center of Louisiana. In January 2014, he became acting spokesperson for Easter Seals of Nevada.
