Private Viewing Party At Opportunity Village With Penn Jilette!

To celebrate Penn Jillette’s participation in the first-ever “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice,” Opportunity Village will hold a private viewing party for its clients on Monday, Mar. 4 from 10:30-11 a.m. at its Engelstad Campus. The party is open to individuals from all three of Opportunity Village’s campuses and will feature highlights of the previous night’s premiere episode. Additional entertainment will include a juggling and magic performance by one of our OV VIPs. 

As a board member and long-time supporter of Las Vegas’ favorite charity, Penn Jillette will once again compete in “The Celebrity Apprentice” series for Opportunity Village, marking the second time Opportunity Village will be the beneficiary of Jillette’s appearance.

CeeLo Green Has A Signature Drink At Strip House!

Monday night, CeeLo Green was spotted dining with friends at Strip House in Planet Hollywood. Gearing up for his soon-to-debut concert show, the group enjoyed fried oysters, rack of lamb, roasted sea bass, a signature filet with sautéed wild mushrooms and cabernet sauvignon.

As Green unveils LOBERACE this week at the Showroom at Planet Hollywood, right next door to Strip House, the steakhouse has launched an honorary CeeLo Green drink perfect for a pre-show cocktail or post-show sip. The new $13 concoction, dubbed the Naughty Strawberry, is a mixture of TY KU Citrus Liqueur, muddled strawberries and fresh lemonade with a splash of TY KU Soju and a strawberry garnish.

Celebrate National Meatball Day!! 3/9 At Meatball Spot!

“Top Chef” Carla Pellegrino’s new Meatball Spot at Town Square Las Vegas will celebrate National Meatball Day with a declaration of “Meatball Spot Day” and 1st Annual Meatball Eating Contest at noon, on Saturday, March 9.

Clark County Commissioner, Steve Sisolak, will kick-off the festivities with a proclamation presentation at the popular eatery, declaring it “Meatball Spot Day” in Las Vegas.

National Meatball Day will continue with Meatball Spot’s 1st Annual Meatball Eating Contest. A group of local celebrities, including hypnotist, Marc Savard, cast members from The Australian Bee Gees Show at Excalibur Hotel & Casino, as well as gorgeous dancers from FANTASY at Luxor Hotel and Casino, will compete to see who can eat six meatballs with their favorite sauce in the shortest amount of time.  The winner will receive a donation to their charity of choice.

A dynamic restaurant and a bar made for mingling come together at the new Meatball Spot, located across from AMC Theatres at Town Square. Featuring the celebrated fare of renowned chef Carla Pellegrino and a compelling cocktail menu, Meatball Spot offers meatball dishes, pizzas, salads and a gelato bar, as well as an array of mojitos, sangrias and cocktail floats. Country Music Singer Gretchen Wilson Will Perform At Gilley's On 3/4!

Country music’s Gretchen Wilson will perform for one night only at Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que at Treasure Island on March 4.

Wilson made her debut in 2004 with the Grammy Award winning single “Redneck Woman” from her album “Here for the Party.” Her second and third albums, “All Jacked Up” and “One of the Boys,” reached No. 1 on the Billboard country albums chart.

Wilson’s current single is “Still Rollin’” from her fifth album “Right on Time.”

Superbowl Champion Ray Rice Parties at TAO!

Saturday night at TAO kicked off a very special championship celebration for Ray Rice of the Baltimore Ravens. The Superbowl champ, joined by a group of longtime friends, dined at Tao Asian Bistro before making his way to the club where he was greeted by a cheering crowd upon arrival. Rice's friend DJ Vice took the helm for the evening, spinning a medley of hits for that had the running back dancing all night long. The always humble athlete graciously took photos with fans and was all smiles when surprised with a champions cake adorned with his jersey.

At Marquee, Taye Diggs was spotted with friends in the club’s Boom Box Room.
