Opening Ceremonies at Fremont Street Experience – Feb. 7
 Opening ceremonies for the USA Sevens International Rugby Tournament will be held at the Fremont Street Experience Thursday, Feb. 7 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. Festivities kick off with the traditional Parade of Nations in which all 16 competing nations will march down Fremont Street in front of their fans.

Following the ceremonies, USA Sevens will host a Fremont Street Block Party, featuring DJ sets from The Light Group’s top talent, for fans eager to continue celebrating the start of the tournament.

Las Vegas Invitational Presented by Station Casinos – Feb. 7 - 9
The Las Vegas Invitational (LVI) is an amateur rugby tournament open to teams of various ages and skill levels.  The LVI is considered one of the premier amateur rugby events in the United States, featuring athletes and matchups across a wide-range of rugby divisions and age groups. The event gives incoming fans and avid rugby enthusiasts a chance to participate and play over the weekend while also watching the professional teams compete at the USA Sevens.

International Fan Festival – Feb. 8 - 10
Throughout the three-day USA Sevens competition, fans can enjoy the event’s international party atmosphere during an on-site festival with live entertainment, a diverse selection of international cuisine and beverages and carnival activities.  Fans can also find family friendly events throughout the festival. Located just outside of Sam Boyd Stadium, ticket holders will be free to move from the festival to the games inside the stadium throughout the tournament.

USA Sevens International Rugby Tournament – Feb 8 - 10
The annual USA Sevens International Rugby Tournament is the premier rugby event in North America as well as the fifth event out of nine in the HSBC Sevens World Series. USA Sevens is the only North American stop in the series. Fans in attendance will see 16 international rugby teams play 45 matches during a three-day competition to gain points in the HSBC Sevens World Series standings. The 2012 USA Sevens event broke all previous attendance records in its third year at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.

Entertainment from Las Vegas Strip Headliners – Feb. 9 and 10
With awe-inspiring choreography, captivating energy and beats that leave audiences dancing in their seats, the world-famous dance crew Jabbawockeez will thrill the USA Sevens crowd with a special performance during a break from tournament competition on Saturday, Feb. 9 before the group debuts its all-new production at Luxor in spring.

The Strip’s newest production show MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will electrify the USA Sevens crowd during a break from the tournament on Sunday, Feb. 10. Inspired by the true story of the famed recording session that brought Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins together at Sun Records for one of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll jam sessions in history, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET showcases hit songs such as “Blue Suede Shoes,” “I Walk the Line,” “Ring of Fire,” “Sixteen Tons,” and “Great Balls of Fire.” The show performs nightly at Harrah’s Las Vegas beginning Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Team Autograph Sessions – Feb. 5 and 6
Several teams competing in USA Sevens competition will hold autograph sessions Tuesday, Feb. 5 and Wednesday, Feb. 6 at various locations leading up to the tournament.  All autograph sessions will give fans the chance to interact with their favorite players while enjoying special giveaways and dining promotions.
 The national teams from Scotland, Wales and France will be at Public House inside Luxor on Tuesday, Feb. 5 from 7 – 9 p.m.
The national teams from United States, Canada and England will be at Todd English Pub inside Crystals at City Center on Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 6 – 8 p.m.

The national teams from Fiji, Samoa and Kenya will be at The Pub inside Monte Carlo Resort and Casino on Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Team USA Pep Rally at Miracle Mile Shops – Feb. 6
Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will hold a pep rally for the USA Eagles on Wednesday, Feb. 6 as the team prepares to compete in the 2013 USA Sevens international rugby tournament. The festivities start at 10:30 a.m. with music and light bites from PBR Rock Bar & Grill. At 11 a.m., USA Sevens cheerleaders will kick off the pep rally, followed by remarks from Miracle Mile Shops Senior Director of Marketing Wendy Albert and USA Eagles Head Coach Alexander Magleby. The rally will also feature a performance from the Arbor View High School Drum Line and an appearance by the USA Eagles, including rising rugby star Carlin Isles. Glen Taylor Elementary School students will close the event by singing to the crowd.  

Tailgate Party at PBR Rock Bar & Grill – Feb. 6
To celebrate the opening of USA Sevens, PBR Rock Bar & Grill inside Miracle Mile Shops will host a tailgate party following the Team USA Pep Rally Wednesday, Feb. 6 at noon.
Official USA Sevens Kickoff Party at PBR Rock Bar & Grill – Feb. 7
Leading up to the weekend, PBR Rock Bar & Grill inside Miracle Mile Shops will host the official USA Sevens Kickoff Party on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Rugby fans can enjoy $40 bottomless cocktails to celebrate the start of the tournament.

Scrumble Golf Tournament – Feb. 8
USA Rugby fans can get into the swing of things during the United States Rugby Football Foundations (USRFF) sixth annual Scrumble Golf Tournament at 8:30 a.m. This year’s Scrumble Golf Tournament will be held at the Las Vegas National Golf Club on Friday, Feb. 8.

Following the USA Sevens championship match, all fans can attend the Official Wrap Party at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino Sunday, Feb. 10 at 5 p.m. Fans will be able to meet and interact with coaches and players from all competing nations as they celebrate a great week of events, international festivals and nonstop rugby action.

Additional Tournament Information:
Played on the same size field as traditional 15-player rugby, USA Sevens rugby is played with just seven players per team.  Matches have seven-minute halves with two-minute intervals for pool and knock-out matches. The fast pace and short duration of matches makes every moment of the action thrilling for spectators.

A swarm of insects invades the Springs Preserve at their newest traveling exhibit--CSI: Crime Scene Insects!

CSI invites visitors of all ages to put their "critter" crime-solving skills to work as they investigate forensic entomology--the use of insects to help solve crimes.

This wildly popular exhibit has broken attendance records at many host venues--including the Miami Science Museum, Museum of the Rockies and the New York Hall of Science. Innovatively designed and built using green materials, CSI fascinates visitors of all ages and is aligned with national science education standards.

CSI: Crime Scene Insects is produced by Exhibit IQ in cooperation with the hit TV series. The exhibit is made possible in part by support from Bayer Environmental Science.
