Chris Willis belts out 3 songs for fans at Club Nikki!

Club Nikki at the all-new Tropicana Las Vegas hotel and casino welcomed top dance music vocalist and frequent DJ David Guetta collaborator, Chris Willis for a special performance on Saturday, August 6, 2011.

Known for his powerful vocals, Willis performed his hit songs "Louder (Put Your Hands Up)", "Gettin' Over You" and "Love Is Gone". All three songs have the distinction of reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart.

Comedian and Las Vegas Strip headliner Carrot Top also enjoyed the evening with a group of friends.

LA Laker's Ron Artest satisfies Sweet Tooth and then some!!

Los Angeles Lakers star player Ron Artest enjoyed a slam dunk dinner at Sugar Factory American Brasserie www.SugarFactory.com inside Paris Las Vegas last night. The 6'7" athlete towered over his table filled with delicious items such as pacific salmon, fettuccini alfredo and grilled mini burgers as he and friends dined and joked with each other. For dessert, the NBA defensive star indulged in a mouth-watering red velvet ice cream sundae, along with a creamy, cookies and cream milkshake.

The basketball player caused quite a stir in Sugar Factory's expansive retail store as he posed for photos with fans and picked out his favorite candies - Swedish Fish and sour gummy peaches - to take home.

"7th Heaven" sweetheart Beverly Mitchell was also spotted satisfying her sweet tooth at Sugar Factory on Saturday night. The petite actress noshed on milk chocolate fondue and sipped on piping-hot espresso before heading up to Chateau Nightclub & Gardens with her family and friends.

Sugar Factory American Brasserie is an American take on a traditional French brasserie, serving delicious cuisine all day, and all night, along with an over-sized retail store and signature Chocolate Lounge. Other Sugar Factory retail stores are located at The Mirage and Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.

 Actor Taye Diggs was spotted at Marquee Dayclub on Saturday celebrating his brother Gabriel’s birthday.  The group kept cool with the hotspot’s Frozen Lemonade and feasted on chips and guacamole, spicy tuna rolls and Kobe burgers while taking in the sounds of Roger Sanchez.

At Marquee Nightclub on Saturday Rashard Lewis of the NBA’s Washington Wizards enjoyed the night with friends as Erick Morillo spun in the main room.

Mix 94.1′s Band Battle For Bite is back! We’re looking for Las Vegas ’ best local singers and bands to compete for a chance to perform on-stage in front of thousands at Mix 94.1′s Bite of Las Vegas on October 15th. Presented by Mix 94.1, Tropical Smoothie Café, and the House of Blues, the Fourth Annual “Mix 94.1’s Band Battle For Bite” takes place on Thursday September 15th at 6:00 pm at the House of Blues Las Vegas inside Mandalay Bay .

Local singers and bands that are interested in submitting their package for consideration into this year’s Band Battle need to log on to Mix941.fm and click the Band Battle For Bite logo to get all the details and requirements. They can also stop by the Mix 94.1 Studios at 7255 S. Tenaya Way . Suite 100 , Las Vegas , NV 89113 to get the necessary information.

All entries must be received by Wednesday August 31st at 12:00 pm. The top eight finalists as chosen by Mix 94.1 will be announced live on-air at 9:00 pm on Sunday September 4th. The eight finalists will then perform live for their fans and a panel of judges at Band Battle For Bite on Thursday September 15th. The four bands with the highest cumulative scores from the judges will get to play live on the Local Stage at Bite of Las Vegas.

Chippendales flock to JLo...at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas!

 Superstar Jennifer Lopez proves she’s still got it after her split with husband, Marc Anthony, as suitors from Chippendales at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino flocked around her figure at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas this past week.   

Chaun Thomas, Nathan Minor, Kris Davis and Chippendales’ special musical guest Jeff Timmons were invited on the ultimate summer speed date with the world’s sexiest new single and presented her figure with special gifts to woo her wax likeness.

 “J.Lo has always been one of our most popular figures, but she’s been getting even more attention since the news of her separation,” said Rosita Chapman, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.  “We decided to give her fans the opportunity to get up close to their heroine and practice their best pick up lines.   She certainly has no shortage of suitors judging by the response!”
