Actress and ESPN record-breaking poker star, Tiffany Michelle, and American Idol Season Six runner-up Blake Lewis were spotted attending ABSINTHE at  Caesars Palace on Sunday, June 15. Following the performance, Michelle and Lewis met with the cast to share words of enthusiasm for the show. Michelle tweeted a photo stating, “Best show in #Vegas! Thank you @AbsintheVegas for having @BlakeLewis & I tonight. Never laughed so hard. Bravo!” Lewis also tweeted a photo, stating : “Thanks for the great night @AbsintheVegas. So much talent in one room and I haven't laughed that much in a long time.”

SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino Grand Opening Date SET!!

SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, the highly anticipated Las Vegas property by global hospitality leader sbe, will open its doors to the public on Saturday, August 23. Located on the iconic grounds of the Sahara Hotel & Casino, construction on The Strip’s newest resort is wrapping ahead of schedule, allowing guests to experience the property earlier than its projected Labor Day Weekend debut.

“It’s such an honor to be part of a dedicated team working around the clock to help bring our vision to life,” said Rob Oseland, President and COO of SLS Las Vegas. “Today we’re turning on our lights and the countdown officially begins as we prepare to welcome guests at SLS Las Vegas one week ahead of schedule.”

SLS Las Vegas broke ground in February 2013, employing thousands of local tradespeople. Upon opening, SLS will be the newest resort to open on the Las Vegas Strip in nearly five years and will bring more than 3,000 jobs to Las Vegas.

Moving forward, SLS Las Vegas’ impressive new marquee will build anticipation as it counts down the number of days until the property welcomes its first guests. The property’s 10,000-square-foot, four-sided marquee stands approximately 88 feet high by 188 feet wide, illuminating the North end of The Strip. Featuring Daktronics LED video technology, the sign contains more than 12 million LEDs and 4 million pixels for standout quality.

With its opening date set, SLS is now accepting room reservations for stays beginning August 23. Dining reservations for Bazaar Meat by José Andrés, Cleo, Katsuya, Ku Noodle and The Griddle Cafe are also available.
