Commonwealth,
located in the revitalized Fremont East District of Downtown Las Vegas, has
introduced Chandelier Sessions, a weekly live music jam held every Wednesday,
from 8 p.m. to close, hosted by multi-platinum musician, Ben Carey.
“Chandelier
Sessions gives up-and-coming musicians the opportunity to perform with seasoned
performers,” says Carey. “It presents a unique opportunity for all of the
musicians, as well as an experience for fans to take in live music by top
acoustic artists in a small, laid-back bar.”
A
hidden gem for acoustic music fans, the event has already featured an array of
well-known artists, including Ryan MacMillan of Matchbox Twenty, Austin Jenckes
and Michael Austin of NBC’s “The Voice,” Cody Beebe and the Crooks, Daniel Park
and Elvis Monroe, as well as by Carey, himself, along with his Lifehouse bandmate,
Bryce Soderberg.
Admission
to Chandelier Sessions is complimentary, and guests may also enjoy delicious
beer specials along with award-winning specialty cocktails. More information
about weekly performers is available on Instagram @ChandelierSessionsLV.
About
Commonwealth
Recently
named “Best Las Vegas Cocktail Bar of the Year” in the 2014 Nightlife & Bar
Awards and one of the “7 New Reasons to Hit Las Vegas,” by the New York Post,
Commonwealth brings a stylish new social scene to the burgeoning bar district
in Downtown Las Vegas. The swanky 6,000-square-foot cocktail bar is a collision
of art and architectural influences inspired by pre-Prohibition era design and
libations; complete with its very own backroom speakeasy, The Laundry Room,
which was recently named ‘Best Cocktail Bar of the Year’ by Nightclub & Bar
Media Group. Crystal chandeliers bring a touch of elegance to the overall
design, which evokes a worn, industrial ambiance. The cocktail menu combines
classic and progressive methods and ingredients to offer drinks like, “Men in
Tights” and “Little Hot Mess,” that make an indelible impression. A rooftop bar
offers an experiential setting with an urban brick feel and 360 degree views of
downtown.
Located
at 525 E. Fremont St., Commonwealth is open Wednesday through Friday from 6
p.m. to close and 8 p.m. to close on Saturday and Sunday. More information is
available by calling 702.798.7000, at www.CommonwealthLV.com,
