Dr. Dre Sighting In Vegas..Where??

On Saturday, June 14 six-time GRAMMY Award-winning mogul Andre Romelle Young, better known as Dr. Dre, was spotted enjoying a night out at Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant and Nightclub along with wife Nicole Threatt and friends. In town celebrating Threatt's birthday, the group was spotted in good spirits through the night.

As his night began, the iconic record producer arrived to Hakkasan Restaurant with his party around 9 p.m. Fully enjoying their time, the group indulged on a number of Hakkasan’s signature dishes including Hakka steamed dim sum platter and Jasmine Tea-smoked Beef Short Ribs. Yong was seen sipping on a few gin cocktails and graciously ordered several specialty drinks for his party such as the Pink Mojito and Bird’s Eye Margarita. Spotted laughing and engaging over conversation, the party made the most out of their dining experience before making their way up to the nightclub.

Continuing the evening, the legendary entrepreneur and his guests headed up to the third level of the nightlife mecca around midnight where they took a seat at their VIP table located inside the Ling Ling Club. As they danced to the open-format beats of Justin Credible the group sipped cocktails and mingled with one another. As the evening went on, the talented artist led his party to the main room where they joined international DJ sensation Steve Aoki in the DJ booth. As the cake throwing icon had the energy of the main room soaring with excitement, the loving couple and their friends took in the sights of the packed nightspot.

Bringing their celebratory evening to a close, Dr. Dre, his wife and their guests made their way out of the complex just after 2:30 a.m.

New Venue Opening for Sin City Brewing Company!

Sin City Brewing Co.’s largest bar and first Strip-front location at Harmon Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard is now open, offering an intimate yet lively venue for patrons who seek the best of Las Vegas’ craft beer at the heart of the iconic Strip.

The 774-square-foot, walk-in bar features Las Vegas’ own craft beer on tap in six signature styles as well as original Sin City merchandise such as t-shirts, shorts and official suds glassware. It is Sin City’s first venue to serve a variety of premium cocktails, accommodating the preferences of all Las Vegas patrons with an all-day happy hour exclusive to the Harmon Corner location.

“Since opening our first bar in 2005, Sin City has been committed to brewing a superior craft beer for tourists and locals to enjoy,” said Sin City’s Master Brewer Richard Johnson. “Opening this new destination with direct access to The Strip – the most exciting street in the world – we look forward to introducing an even greater audience to the growing craft beer culture in Las Vegas.”

Through years of tutelage from brewing icons Dan Gordon and Dean Biersch, Johnson delivers complex yet clean tastes that celebrate the rich tradition of crafting German-style lagers and English ales. In accordance with the 1516 German Beer Purity Law, Sin City utilizes just four ingredients to create its selection of brews, including:

·         Amber: The copper hue of this Octoberfest-style lager is equally as beautiful as it is tasty, with well-balanced and satisfyingly smooth flavors.

·         Light: A perfect option for the craft beginner, this refreshing beer gives an extra kick of flavor while still achieving easy drinkability.

·         IPA: Craft beer connoisseurs will be delighted by this full-bodied brew, featuring a distinct hoppy taste that continues to evolve on the palate as it is being consumed.

·         Weisse: Sin City’s wheat beer emanates refreshing hints of citrus and banana zest with a spicy clove aroma that is a sensation for all the senses.

·         Stout: The darker side of Sin City is this traditional Irish Session Stout that showcases a thick creamy head, dry finish and a stimulating roasted-coffee essence.

·         Seasonal: Sin City brews a selection of five seasonal beers that rotate throughout the year including a Pilsner, Winter Brock, Steam Beer, Pale Ale and its current resident – the Double IPA – overflowing with hops at 8.5 percent alcohol content.

The Harmon Corner destination marks Sin City’s third bar, joining its other two locations at Miracle Mile Shops and The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian.

Four Time Winner! Scott Gafforini Takes NASCAR Super Late Model Race

Scott Gafforini (PC - Jeff Speer)
Scott Gafforini drove to his fourth NASCAR Super Late Model feature victory of the season and Dennis Rock Jr. earned his second Super Late Model feature win during Saturday night’s 12th annual Chris Trickle Father’s Day Weekend Special at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Gafforini started fifth in the first of the twin 35-lap features and drove to the lead on lap 23 but surrendered the lead to Andre Prescott two laps later and then faded to third. Following a caution on lap 32, Gafforini shot past Steve Anderson into second on lap 33 and passed Prescott for the lead on lap 34 and held on for the win. Prescott took second, David Anderson was third, Kayli Barker finished fourth and Rock Jr. was fifth.

In the second Super Late Model feature, Rock Jr. was the class of the field, leading all 35 laps and driving to a three-second victory over David Anderson. Gafforini, Stan Mullis and Prescott rounded out the top five.
“We struggled with the car for a while but it is working pretty good,” Rock Jr. said. “We just had a few adjustments to make and it’s working good now.”

Gafforini, the Super Late Model points leader, said he battled a tricky situation with his car in the first feature that kept him out of the lead early in the race.

“We had a stuck throttle pedal and I’d been trying to pull the pedal off the (floorboard) with my toe,” he said. “Because of that, we lost the brakes.”

Chuck Trickle, who briefly ended his five-year retirement as a driver to race on the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekend that carries his late son’s name, finished ninth and 10th in the two Super Late Model features.

Don Sargent made the most of his Father’s Day eve as he won the 25-lap NASCAR Bomber feature after grabbing the lead on sixth lap. Sargent, who has four feature wins this season and leads the class points standings, withstood a race-long challenge from Jim Merlino and Rich Ham and posted a car-length victory over Merlino.

Jason Irwin, from Albuquerque, N.M., continued to make himself at home at The Bullring, winning the 30-lap NASCAR Grand American Modified feature and then turning around and winning the 25-lap Legend Car feature that immediately followed. Irwin now has three Grand American Modified victories and three Legend Car feature wins here this season.
Jason Kiser won the 25-lap NASCAR Super Stock feature and Brian Reed claimed the 20-lap Thunder Car main event. Kyle Jacks won the Bandolero Outlaws feature and Dezel West made it three in a row in Bandolero Bandits.

NEXT RACE – Saturday, June 28 – NASCAR Whelen All-American Series: NASCAR Super Late Models, NASCAR Super Stocks, NASCAR Bombers, Southwest Tour Truck Series, USAC HPD Midget Series, USLCI Legend Cars, IAPMO/Silver Star Plumbing/LasVegasTool.com Bandoleros. Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m. The Bullring’s concession stand features $1 hot dogs, $1 Coca-Cola products and $2 Budweiser beer on each NASCAR Whelen All-American Series race night.
