XS Nightclub Shatters Attendance Records With Avicii

The kickoff to summer in Las Vegas showed that it reigns supreme at XS last night. Last year, Labor Day Weekend closed out with a bang as David Guetta set a new XS Las Vegas attendance record with a special edition of the venue’s celebrated Night Swim party. That 10,000 attendance number was shattered last night, as the award-winning nightclub located inside Wynn Las Vegas saw 11,000 people walk through the doors on a flow throughout the evening to check out what Avicii had in store for the launch of summer season.

Night Swim allows guests to ditch their clubwear and put on their best swim apparel to jump into the club’s glistening outdoor pool. For Memorial Day’s edition, the stage faced both sides of the crowd so no one missed a second of the action, as well as large LED boards that broadcast Avicii live to the outdoor area along with his custom video production.

There wasn’t a spot to be found on the dance floor nor in the pool, but every time the beat dropped, the water splashed high into the sky as fans took in the set both from the water and on dry land.

Managing Partner Jesse Waits confirmed close to 4 a.m. that the club had seen record-breaking attendance, defeating the mark left by Guetta in the fall.

XS’ Memorial Day Weekend festivities closes out tonight with a DJ set by Zedd. Doors open at 10 p.m.

Celebs LOVE The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino LV! Puff Daddy, Busta Rhymes & MORE!

Busta Rhymes
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas proved to be a celebrity hotspot throughout Memorial Day weekend as recording artists, athletes and actors partied at the property’s daylife, nightlife and entertainment venues as well as dined at the resort’s restaurants.

On Friday, May 23, Taboo of Black Eyed Peas returned to Hard Rock Hotel as a guest DJ at Paradise Beach’s Summer Camp session. Spotted in the crowd was Sharna Burgess, professional dancer on ABC’s hit series “Dancing with the Stars.” Burgess was taking in the sun while enjoying some serious rest and relaxation following the show’s season finale.

That evening, mixed martial arts fighter Dan Henderson held his weigh-in after party at the property’s premier dining destination, 35 Steaks + Martinis. Henderson enjoyed signature dishes including the Sautéed Copper River Wild King Salmon and was joined by 40 of his closest friends and family members.

Across the casino, mixed martial arts announcer Bruce Buffer let his laughs out while watching Andrew Dice Clay’s show at Vinyl. Buffer tweeted, “At Hard Rock Hotel on [sic] Vegas with friends & about to see Andrew Dice Clay do his stand up comedy act. Time to laugh!@ufcfightclub #itstime.”

Comedian Kevin Hart and professional football player Adrian Peterson were also on property as they hosted Vanity Nightclub. The two were joined by Peterson’s teammate, Anthony Barr.

On Saturday, May 24, partygoers checked in for a day of REHAB as J. Cole took over on the poolside stage. The chart-topping artist sang some of his biggest hits including “Nobody’s Perfect,” “She Knows” and “Can’t Get Enough,” all while his crew threw T-shirts out to screaming fans. In between each song, J. Cole addressed the crowd, thanking them for coming out and mentioning, “This is REHAB, this is some legendary sh*t!” To finish up his show, J. Cole performed “Work Out,” “Crooked Smile” and “Power Trip” as the entire audience sang along, then partied on stage with up-and-coming rapper Vic Mensa. J. Cole continued the celebrations that evening by keeping guests “up all night” as he and his crew closed out Vanity Nightclub.

Puff Daddy
On Sunday, May 25, Puff Daddy transformed REHAB into one of his notorious parties as he took the sold-out dayclub by storm with Alfredo Flores, Busta Rhymes, Cassie, DJ Clue, DJ Whoo Kid, Hit-Boy, Karrueche Tran, Meek Mill, Mike Tyson, Quincy Combs and YG. The group partied on stage as Puff Daddy, Busta Rhymes and Meek Mill performed. Spotted in the audience was professional football players Anthony Barr, C.J. Spillman, Cortez Allen,  NaVorro Bowman, Tony Carter and overseas basketball player TJ Bannister.
Quincy & Alfredo

Cassie

That night, Cassie hosted Vanity Nightclub. The singer was joined by Alfredo Flores and Quincy Combs and wore a gold crop top, black jacket with gold pinstripes, black harem pants, white stilettos and gold accessories.

Dan Henderson stopped by the property again on Sunday evening to dine at Nobu Las Vegas and Natalie Skyy, best known for her role in FX’s “Sons of Anarchy,” was seen watching Guns N’ Roses’ residency currently going on through Saturday, June 7 at The Joint.

Superstars David Copperfield & Shania Twain Hang Out & Sip Champagne! Where??

David Copperfield and Shania Twain enjoyed a late night out in Las Vegas as they toasted cocktails at the owner’s table at FIZZ, the lavish new champagne lounge at Caesars Palace, fashioned by Creative Director David Furnish.

Both the Queen of Country Pop and the renowned illusionist were accompanied by their significant others as they nibbled on small bites and sipped on a variety of FIZZ’s signature cocktails.  Copperfield was seen enjoying the Fizz Fraise as Shania drank the Chopin Martini with bleu cheese olives. Superstar Comedienne/Actor Chris Tucker Brings Laughter To The Pearl!

International superstar Chris Tucker, who just returned from the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, hit the stage at The Pearl inside Palms Casino Resort Saturday night with a flurry of dance moves which had the crowd cheering wildly. Where most comedians just walk on stage, Tucker arrived in style with fog and special lighting which followed an introduction video to a comedian that really needs no true introduction. The video was a compilation of clips from Tucker’s past movies – to see the comedian in a breadth of roles from Friday (1995) and Fifth Element (1997) to Silver Linings Playbook (2012) - really got the crowd excited for that night’s show. Tucker even used some of those past references in his material explaining that people ask him all the time if he will reprise his role as Smokey in another Friday movie and he joked that he never even got paid for the first one - “Cube paid me in CDs and weed.” He even talked about his Rush Hour franchise  (1998, 2001, 2007) co-star Jackie Chan, telling the crowd that Chan “gets on my damn nerves” because he calls him collect from Hong Kong just to be funny. Although he made no mention of it, it’s rumored that Tucker and Chan are going to be working on a Rush Hour 4.

Opener Terry Hodges, who’s often on tour with Tucker, strayed from part of his normal routine to do some crowd work as audience members were arriving a little fashionably late to the show, which kicked off a night of great comedy.

About the Foundation
The Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer is focused on helping men with prostate cancer that need financial assistance for medical expenditures and other financial needs while being treated for prostate cancer. We also hope to motivate men to get tested for the disease as early detection proves to be crucial in the treatment process. The foundation established in 2003 and has generated over $1,500,000 in donations and sponsorships to benefit programs related to the disease, for prostate cancer research and financial assistance for survivors of this disease.

Peter Feinstein, Managing Partner of Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club, “The World’s Largest Gentlemen’s Club” and The Sapphire Foundation have hosted 9 charity golf and poker tournaments in Las Vegas since the creation of the organization.  Due to its tremendous success in Las Vegas, the organization brought the fundraiser to the East Coast to continue to raise funds for prostate cancer victims and awareness to this life-threatening disease.

Sapphire's Managing Partner and creator of The Sapphire Foundation, Peter Feinstein, says he felt lucky to survive prostate cancer and wanted help educate the public about prostate cancer and give back to the cause. “As a survivor, I’m extremely grateful for the support and assistance,” said Feinstein. “I love working on these charitable events as it allows us to shed light on prostate cancer, while at the same time, raising money to fight it.”

Feinstein started his own foundation after being rejected by established prostate cancer foundations due to funds generated indirectly through gentlemen’s club activities and none of the established charities Feinstein contacted wanted to be involved. Feinstein is an owner of Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club, billed as the largest and most creative of its kind anywhere in the world. He said he was simply trying to do some good when he decided to raise money for prostate cancer victims like himself.
