Madame Tussauds Gives Back To Children In Las Vegas!

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas will welcome 100 very special guests: 100 children for a fun-filled day at the attraction. Merlin’s Magic Wand, the charity of Madame Tussauds’ parent company, Merlin Entertainments, is working with Communities in Schools of Nevada (CIS), specifically elementary students from Elaine Wynn Elementary, to make the big day a reality.

The children are being welcomed to celebrate the opening of Merlin Entertainment’s 100th attraction, SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord, which opened in February. Each of Merlin’s 100 global attractions is welcoming 100 children through Merlin’s Magic Wand, with a goal of 10,000 deserving children receiving a memorable visit to the attractions around the world.

Upon the children’s arrival, they will receive a special welcome from a Merlin Entertainments executive and will have a souvenir photo taken with their preferred wax figure. Next, they will be invited to explore Madame Tussauds all-new attraction, including the Marvel Super Heroes 4D Experience. The event will conclude with lunch with each child receiving personalized Madame Tussauds gift bags. The children were asked prior to the event about their favorite characters and also specific needs such as clothing, school supplies and items for summer.

Throughout the year, Merlin’s Magic Wand allows schools, hospitals and charitable organizations and families to give their seriously ill, disabled or disadvantaged children the chance to experience Merlin Entertainments attractions worldwide for free. Qualified organizations and individuals interested in receiving complimentary admission to any of Merlin Entertainments’ 100 attractions around the globe can go to www.MerlinsMagicWand.org and apply.

CIS of Nevada is the local affiliate of the nation’s largest dropout prevention program. It supports at-risk children and their families throughout Nevada with wraparound services including everything from tutoring and mental health services to food, clothing and dental care.
