YUMZ Gourmet Frozen Yogurt Celebrates Grand Opening! 1st 30 Free Cup Frozen Yogurt!

To celebrate the Las Vegas grand opening weekend, the first 30 customers to visit Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt on Friday, May 2 at 11 a.m. will receive a free cup of frozen yogurt.

On Saturday, May 3, 98.5 KLUC radio station with Chet Buchannan will broadcast live from the location from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with free giveaways including concert tickets to the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block.

On Sunday, May 4, Yumz will donate 10 percent of the store proceeds to the Douglas J. Green Memorial Foundation, a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization that provides comfort, support and supplies to service members and their families by sending care packages during their deployments. In addition, Yumz will accept monetary or individual snack package donations for the foundation, and promote the Fallen Heroes 5k/10k charity run to take place on Saturday, May 17.

Artist Elizabeth Blau's Changing Landscapes Exhibition Now At Brett Wesley Gallery

This May, join us in welcoming Elizabeth Blau to the gallery with her latest series of paintings: Changing Landscapes. In this series Blau continues her exploration of dramatic landscapes in transition. These paintings are influenced by abstract expressionism and color field painting, accompanied by fine lines and geometric forms. Recently Elizabeth has been awarded a fellowship with The Arctic Circle Residency program where artists, scientists, and innovators collaborate on issues of our time.

American television personality of TLC’s “Long Island Medium,” Theresa Caputo, dined at Michael and Jenna Morton’s La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway inside Wynn Las Vegas for an early dinner Monday evening. Caputo was joined by her husband and two friends and sat in the main dining room looking out to the beautiful garden lounge. With more than 10,000 bands entered worldwide, 418,000 votes submitted and 750 bands competing in live battles at 70+ Hard Rock Cafes around the world, the results are in and Las Vegas’ own Avalon Landing has made it to the final round of Hard Rock Rising – the world’s largest battle of the bands competition!  After battling it out with several of the area’s top bands at Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas and beating out the competition during the global voting phase, Avalon Landing is among the top winners from around the world and is one step closer to winning the chance of a lifetime – an all-expenses paid trip to Rome, Italy to perform at the first Hard Rock Live Rome music festival this summer! Second and third prize winners will each receive new music equipment and gear valued at $10,000.

DayDream Pool Club at M Resort Spa Casino will celebrate its official grand opening on Saturday, May 3, followed by a two-day Cinco de Mayo fiesta, May 4 and 5, and a lineup of can’t-miss summer pool party events.
