To
celebrate the Las Vegas grand opening weekend, the first 30 customers to visit
Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt on Friday, May 2 at 11 a.m. will receive a free cup
of frozen yogurt.
On
Saturday, May 3, 98.5 KLUC radio station with Chet Buchannan will broadcast
live from the location from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with free giveaways including
concert tickets to the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block.
On
Sunday, May 4, Yumz will donate 10 percent of the store proceeds to the Douglas
J. Green Memorial Foundation, a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization that
provides comfort, support and supplies to service members and their families by
sending care packages during their deployments. In addition, Yumz will accept
monetary or individual snack package donations for the foundation, and promote
the Fallen Heroes 5k/10k charity run to take place on Saturday, May 17.
