Rusty Maples Band Represents Vegas At SXSW!

Buzz band Rusty Maples represented Las Vegas well during this year’s SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas as the only band from Las Vegas to have an official showcase.

Attached are photos from one of the group’s performances during the Caesars Entertainment showcase curated by Life is Beautiful at Austin Ale House (March 14). The band recently was in the recording studio in Las Vegas with Alex Rose of Minus the Bear and have released the first song titled “Long Walk Home”  from the upcoming EP which can be heard here https://soundcloud.com/rusty-maples/long-walk-home-radio-edit - this was released during their week at SXSW.

Flogging Mary Brings A Bit Of The Irish To The Blvd. Pool!

On Saturday, March 15 Celtic rockers Flogging Molly with special guest Ozomatli took to the mophie Stage at Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, much to the delight of revelers.

The show opened with sounds from Ozomatli, who energized the festive crowed before Flogging Molly lit up the stage with their punk rock sounds and Celtic instruments. The boisterous band performed a raucous, adrenaline-filled set that got fans screaming along to hits such as “Revolution,” “Every Dog Has Its Day” and “No More (Paddy’s Lament).” The show took place as part of the band’s 10th Annual Green 17 Tour.

Oscar Nominee Amy Adams Kicks Up Her Heels In Vegas!

Friday, March 14th Academy-Award nominated actress, Amy Adams, was spotted at Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant and Nightclub at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino partying with her boyfriend, Darren Le Gallo, as well as her sister, who was also joined by her significant other. Arriving around 1:00 a.m. and dressed in a black sleeveless dress with silver shoes, the American Hustle beauty was in great spirits and spent her night hanging out with her group at a VIP table located on the main stage. Adams was spotted dancing all night long with glow sticks as award-winning DJ Calvin Harris spun his hits, and at one point even jumped on top of her VIP booth to dance and take in the sights of Hakkasan’s Main Room. Adams and her group finally capped off their fun filled night around 3:00 a.m., exiting the nightclub.

Before making her way to the nightclub, the group enjoyed a private double dinner date at Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant. Together the group savored its beloved Crispy duck salad and took in the celebrated dining destination's intimate surroundings.

Earlier in the day, the talented star kicked off her Vegas getaway as she joined WET REPUBLIC's opening day festivities. Arriving around 12:00 p.m. with her group, she made her way to the VIP bungalows. Dressed in a mint green bikini with white linen cover up and nude wedges, Adams spent her time sipping on signature cocktails as she indulged in delicious lunchtime eats and danced to some of her favorite songs.

Poppy Den Offers New Party Brunch Starting This Saturday!

Poppy Den Asian Bistro by Chef Angelo Sosa, located at the heart of Tivoli Village, will introduce a weekly Party Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays beginning on Sunday, March 16. The brunch launch will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with festive food and drink specials.

Poppy Den will offer a Party Brunch every weekend from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. that will be served in the main dining room and on the spacious garden patio. Chef Sosa’s Western-inspired menu will feature a gourmet twist on traditional dishes with items like salt and pepper grilled steak and eggs; pancakes with berries; brioche French toast and roasted bananas; the Poppy Burger with french fries; and Caesar salad with chicken or shrimp along with classic favorites such as eggs served any style, fruit plates, bagels and eggs Benedict. Brunch items will be priced between $8 and $15.

Bottomless mimosas, bloody marys and Bellinis will be offered for $18 per person. A different flavored Bellini will be featured each week including fruit-flavored selections: peach, strawberry and passion fruit.

Green refreshments and holiday party favors will be offered exclusively on Sunday, March 16, to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
