Poppy
Den Asian Bistro by Chef Angelo Sosa, located at the heart of Tivoli Village,
will introduce a weekly Party Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays beginning on
Sunday, March 16. The brunch launch will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with
festive food and drink specials.
Poppy
Den will offer a Party Brunch every weekend from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. that will be
served in the main dining room and on the spacious garden patio. Chef Sosa’s
Western-inspired menu will feature a gourmet twist on traditional dishes with
items like salt and pepper grilled steak and eggs; pancakes with berries;
brioche French toast and roasted bananas; the Poppy Burger with french fries;
and Caesar salad with chicken or shrimp along with classic favorites such as eggs
served any style, fruit plates, bagels and eggs Benedict. Brunch items will be
priced between $8 and $15.
Bottomless
mimosas, bloody marys and Bellinis will be offered for $18 per person. A
different flavored Bellini will be featured each week including fruit-flavored
selections: peach, strawberry and passion fruit.
Green
refreshments and holiday party favors will be offered exclusively on Sunday,
March 16, to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

Angelo Sosa’s Poppy Den Asian Bistro offers his own signature blend of
traditional fare with modern influences inspired by his travels throughout
Asia. Sosa relocated to Las Vegas and can often be seen at the restaurant,
whether he’s in the kitchen or our meeting the guests. The hand-crafted
cocktails and sake, along with wine and draft beers, complement the expertly
crafted fare. The restaurant is open from 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday

Sunday. The Den, Poppy Den’s hip second-story ultra-lounge, is open from 7 to
10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

As a
Las Vegas local, Chef Sosa is able to spend ample time at Poppy Den Asian
Bistro and prepare memorable meals for his neighbors to enjoy with their
families. He relocated to the Summerlin area in 2013 to reintroduce Poppy Den
as an Asian Bistro along with his new business partner, Ken Henderson, a local
restaurateur and entrepreneur. Henderson owns Pizza Lounge in Tivoli Village
and BEST Agency. Chef Sosa is recognized for finishing as first-runner up as a
‘cheftestant’ on season seven of Bravo’s “Top Chef” in 2010 and later returning
to compete on “Top Chef All-Stars” in 2011. He recently introduced a cookbook
titled “Flavor Exposed” and has a second cookbook in the works.
