UFC Fighter Clay Guida stops by for a bite! Where in Las Vegas??

UFC lightweight fighter Clay Guida stopped into Sugar Factory American Brasserie ( www.SugarFactory.com ) inside Paris Las Vegas yesterday evening with  a group of friends. The MMA star enjoyed a hearty meal of a steak sandwich and artichokes, washed down with a rich chocolate milk. Guida had the Fluffer Nutter milkshake on his mind all day, but said he was far too full from lunch to indulge in the peanut butter and marshmallow fluff treat. After finishing up his meal, Guida browsed the Sugar Factory retail store, taking pictures with fans and chatting before heading out for a radio interview.

Gin Blossoms at The Orleans in LV! June 11th and 12th!

Gin Blossoms, with mega-hits including "Hey Jealousy," "Found Out About You" and "Til I Hear It From You," will perform live for two nights only, June 11 and 12, each evening at 8 p.m.

Gin Blossoms launched popular band on the local front in Tempe, Arizona, and were chosen as the “city’s best rock band” by readers of the Phoenix New Times and qualified to perform at the well-regarded South by Southwest Music Festival in 1989. Later that year, College Music Journal dubbed them the "Best Unsigned Band in America" and invited them to play MTV's New Music Awards in New York City.

Within the next two years, their music was heard around the world and they were charting on Billboard. Their first major label release was 1991’s Up and Crumbling and the 1992 multi-platinum selling New Miserable Experience, featuring the single "Hey Jealousy," which peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. Four more singles from this album followed, including "Mrs. Rita," "Allison Road,” "Until I Fall Away" and "Found Out About You," the latter of which hit No. 1 on the Modern Rock chart. The 1995 single, “Til I Hear It From You,” which appeared on the soundtrack for the film Empire Records, hit No. 3 on the Adult Pop chart.

Congratulations I'm Sorry, released in 1996, was the Blossom's final original album of the decade spawning two hit singles, "Follow You Down," which spent ten weeks in the Top Ten and "As Long As It Matters," which earned the group a Grammy nomination for "Best Performance by a Duo or Group." The album debuted in Billboard's Top Ten and a year of touring helped the album reach platinum status.

The group then took a lengthy hiatus before embarking on an eighty-date US tour in 2002 and then releasing a new album, Major Lodge Victory in 2006. Their latest album, No Chocolate Cake, was released in September 2010.

Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets are available starting from $29.95, plus tax and convenience fees, and can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 702.365.7075 or visiting www.orleanscasino.com.

Want to Treat Dad to a special night! Fensler headed to Bullring - LVMS!

Fensler headed to the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s! June 11 NASCAR K&N Series West O’Reilly Auto Parts 200

Jason Fensler is coming to the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to compete in the June 11 O’Reilly Auto Parts 200 NASCAR K&N Series West event. The prestigious
series has served as a springboard for such notable NASCAR drivers as Kevin Harvick, 1990 Daytona 500 winner Derrike Cope, Chad Little, Ron Hornaday Jr., David Gilliland and Las Vegas’ Brendan Gaughan.

Fensler, the 2005 SRL Southwest Series champion has two wins in just five starts in NASCAR K&N Pro Series West competition. His most recent victory was earned at Roseville, Calif. on April 16, aboard the Terri Cass-owned No. 59 Chevrolet.

Although the 35-year-old racer hails from Elk Grove, Calif., his car will carry local sponsorship: Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall. His team competes on a limited schedule due to sponsorship constraints and of course hopes a win in Las Vegas will result in additional backing.

“The entire Team Cass Racing team is looking forward to Las Vegas,” said Fensler. “Roger Bracken, our crew chief, has prepared another great race car. Las Vegas has that short-track style, but it also has banking and that makes the track a pretty fast place. The last time I raced at The Bullring was in 2006 in a Super Late Model. I look forward to racing there again to see what these K&N

Pro Series West cars can do on that track. After our victory in Roseville at All American Speedway, being mentioned in the Hunter Index was a great honor for me. To be mentioned with some of the best talent across the country just shows how strong Team Cass Racing is. Roger and the entire team work hard at each and every race and I can't thank them enough for their efforts.”

NASCAR’s Hunter Index ranks the top drivers in the nation in its developmental series.
Fensler also has earned track championships at Mesa Marin Raceway (Bakersfield, Calif.), Altamont Raceway Park (Tracy, Calif.) and Stockton (Calif.) 99 Speedway.

Fans may obtain free tickets for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 200 by purchasing K&N products.
