Vigil in honor of slain dancer! Donations accepted to help family and Shade Tree!

  

A vigil in memory of Debbie Flores-Narvaez will be held at Luxor’s Atrium Showroom Friday, January 14 from 11 a.m. to noon. The service will pay tribute to the life of Flores-Narvaez with a video presentation. Friends and family will be welcomed to speak at the event. The service is open to the public.

There has been a donation account created to assist the Flores-Narvaez family with funeral arrangements. Nevada State Bank is currently accepting donations to the Debbie Flores-Narvaez  account (# 0910802404) at any of their branches, or arrangements to make out-of-state donations may be made by calling their customer service line at 800-727-4743, or by mailing a check or money order to PO Box 990, Las Vegas, NV 89125.

 Additional monies raised outside of funeral costs will be donated to Shade Tree on behalf of the Flores-Narvaez family. Shade Tree provides safe shelter to homeless and abused women and children in crisis and offers life-changing services promoting stability, dignity, and self-reliance. Saturday night Stevie Wonder was spotted dining with friends and family at TAO Asian Bistro in Las Vegas.  They enjoyed TAO signature dishes along with a specially prepared chicken dish from the chef and Duckhorn Merlot.

David Spade and a friend also chose to dine at TAO on Saturday.  Spade had his favorite, Kung Pao Chicken as well as Sushi.

Rocker Dave Navarro dined at LAVO, feasting on Kobe Meatballs and Calamari before heading up to the nightclub to host the Erotic Ball.

50 Cent had dinner in LAVO’s private dining room with his Sleek by 50 Cent Wireless Headphone business associates.  The rapper hit the club for a bit before calling it an early night around midnight after a long weekend of work and play.

Friday night Ronnie Brown of the Miami Dolphins was spotted in the club at TAO.

In Flames! World's Record set yesterday!! Highest Flame Blown by Fire Breather!

Amanda Mochan of Guinness World Records was in Las Vegas yesterday torecord The Highest Flame Blown By A Fire Breather! The previous record was held by an Australian and was 23 feet 7 inches.

The new record was set yesterday in a warehouse in Las Vegas by fire breather and 'America's Got Talent 2010' contestant Antonio Restivo who blew a 26 foot and 5 inch flame. Antonio is the first American to hold this record. His proud mother, Eileen Restivo, was on hand to watch along with Antonio's friends, family and colleagues.

Antonio skillfully and safely blew flames well into the ceiling of the warehouse past the 26 foot marker with Fire Marshall on hand overseeing the process.

Adult film actress and VH1’s Celebrity Rehab reality star Mary Carey hosted a special Scotty Boy Mondays at Tabú Ultra Lounge inside MGM Grand with good friend DJ Scotty Boy last night. While the AVN Awards ended over the weekend, the two buds were determined to keep the party going and enjoy a night out with friends and fans at Vegas’ hottest ultra lounge.

After kicking off the night at MGM Grand’s Centrifuge bar, the blonde beauty arrived on the red carpet outside of Tabú in a low-riding, sweetheart-cut blue dress with black strappy pumps. Her sexy style was accentuated with hot pink toenails and sparkling topaz necklace. Scotty Boy was looking fresh in his all black San Francisco Giants flat-billed baseball cap, plaid button-up and high-top sneakers. The two friends jokingly posed on the carpet together, sticking out their tongues and acting like rock stars. Joining the duo on the carpet were Carey’s husband Mario Monge and Scotty Boy’s girlfriend Tony Shtarkman.

Continuing inside the sophisticated hotspot, Carey and Scotty Boy partied in VIP style as they mingled with friends at the best table in the ultra lounge, right in front of DJ Forbes spinning his bumping beats.  The sexy starlet wasted no time getting the party started as she jumped on VIP table and began to dance. Then Scotty Boy took his turn on the DJ decks, and continued the celebration into the early hours of the morning when he tweeted to the world “Ahhh yeah! Good times 2nite @TabuLounge thank u @realmarycarey!”

Lena Prima Returns to the Suncoast Showroom With a Tribute to Her Legendary Father Louis Prima, January 15-16

Recording artist and entertainer Lena Prima, youngest daughter of music legend Louis Prima, returns to the Suncoast Showroom to perform popular songs recorded by her father along with original hits, January 15 and 16.

“That Old Black Magic,” “Jump Jive ‘An Wail,” and “Sing Sing Sing” are among the songs made popular by her father that Prima will perform at the Suncoast, the latter featuring Lena on the drums. For the evening of music, joined by her seven-piece band, Prima will also perform tunes from her recently released album Since The Storm.

Born in Las Vegas to famous singer, songwriter and musician Louis Prima and classically trained singer Gia Maione Prima, young Lena Prima literally grew up on stage singing, dancing and touring with her parents during her summer vacations. She graduated from Clark High School in Las Vegas and continued her education at UNLV where she studied art, music and dance. Singing became her full-time career in 1991, touring with bands The Checkmates and The Spiral Staircase.

In 2000, Prima began a two-year engagement of Louis Prima, That’s My Dad! at the Sahara Hotel and Casino, where her father had performed in the early 50s. With three albums recorded and released, Prima has performed on stages throughout the U.S. In addition to an award-winning performance career, Prima is an accomplished artist and jewelry designer.
