The new Vegas Stand Up & Rock is bringing legendary entertainment to OYO Hotel & Casino, located footsteps from the MGM with a performance by rock and roll superstar Gilby Clarke on Friday, March 17. Live music will begin at 9 p.m. with The Velvet Chains, a popular Las Vegas-based rock band, followed by Clarke. Tickets maybe be purchased here, starting at $24.95.
Clarke is a rock and roll icon having performed for sold-out stadiums as a member of Guns N’ Roses and Slash’s Snakepit. He has also performed with renowned rock stars such as Tommy Lee and Jason Newsted as a member of Rock Star: Supernova following the conclusion of the reality competition show of the same name in which he starred. He also maintains a successful solo career with the release of his single “Rock n’ Roll Is Getting Louder” and accompanying music video in 2020 as well as his latest studio album, “The Gospel Truth,” in 2021.
Vegas Stand Up & Rock also hosts nightly comedy with nationally touring comedians at 7 p.m. as well as live music or comedy at 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. “Laugh After Dark: Live in Las Vegas,” a new residency from the award-winning "Laugh After Dark” on Amazon video, takes over the showroom at 9 p.m. Sunday. Guests must be 18 years or older to attend all shows. Comedy ticket prices start at $29.95 plus taxes and fees; live music tickets start at $10 plus taxes and fees.
