Vegas Weddings celebrated a decade downtown with an official proclamation presentation by Mayor Carolyn Goodman. The premier wedding chapel company, which has overseen more than 80,000 weddings to date, first opened its doors on Aug. 8, 2008 and celebrated their 10-year anniversary alongside couples exchanging vows on today's popular wedding date of 8/8/18 with exclusive experiences, giveaways, promotions and more. Over 30 ceremonies were performed today, including the ever popular drive-thru wedding in the fast lane.

"I'm excited to be back down here again after opening the doors 10 years ago," said Goodman. "Vegas Weddings is a great addition to downtown, and I wish them many more years of success!"

Continuing the celebration, two lucky couples will win a free Inspire Package (a $699 value) by posting their image to Vegas Wedding's Facebook page from Aug. 1-18. All submissions will be compiled into an album where friends and families can cast their votes by liking the photos. The top two photos with the most likes will win.
