Move-ins are now underway at South Beach Resort, a boutique residence that aims to make coming home feel like being on vacation.
Located at 8920 W. Russell Rd. just east of the I-215 Beltway, South Beach is now open to residents, offering contemporary design and top-of-the-line interiors and finishes inside and countless community amenities outside. These include the football-field-sized Central Park with a tropical pool and barbecue coves for intimate get-togethers; a 12,000-square-foot Resort Hall that is more like the common area of a luxury hotel than a clubhouse, complete with an automated restaurant, wellness and health offerings; basketball and beach volleyball courts; and a dynamic lineup of social events.
South Beach has partnered with element HOSPITALITY, whose portfolio includes nightlife and dining hotspots such as FIZZ, Beer Park, Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop, and more. The partnership with element brings a unique amenity to residents who are not only looking for a home, but a lifestyle. Founded by Steven Kennedy and Jonathan Spadafora, the company uses its cutting-edge creativity and decades of combined experience to provide residents with VIP treatment. A full line-up of dozens of events is already underway, including live entertainment, group outdoor yoga, wine tastings, beach parties featuring DJs and dancing, and more.
Set in mirage-like, tropical surroundings, South Beach’s 220 luxurious residences embrace a sexy, contemporary art-deco balance between island minimalism and elegance. South Beach offers one-bedroom, two-bedroom and two-bedroom-plus-den apartments, ranging from 680 square feet to 1,380 square feet. All layouts include state-of-the-art technology throughout, including a smartphone app that controls several features within the home, and state-of-the-art security at the entrance to the complex. Each residence also offers an in-home safe.
The Central Park serves as a social common place where residents and friends can mingle and relax, with an outdoor kitchen and bar; an oversized fire pit and climate-controlled misters; a 26-foot fire table with seating for up to 22 guests; a resort-style saltwater swimming pool and spa; a state-of-the-art sound system; lush lounge-style seating, hammocks under the trees and an organic garden. Residents may enjoy outdoor sporting events during the day and movie nights on a 16-foot outdoor television screen. The SB Beach and surrounding areas are shaded by groves of sumac trees and highlighted by nearly 500 palm trees, including massive Canary Island date palms, sago palms and Mediterranean fan palms. Furry friends and their owners may mingle at two dog parks, both equipped with agility equipment and one with a water feature. After romping around at the dog park, owners may spoil their pets at South Beach’s rejuvenating pet spa.
The main floor of the luxurious Resort Hall houses the SB Lounge, which flows to a stunning outdoor veranda, and includes pool tables, a boutique salon and an automated restaurant. The centerpiece is a tranquil terrarium that expresses South Beach’s commitment to sustainability. The second floor is dedicated entirely to health, fitness and wellness, including a full fitness center that houses a full-size matrix gym, featuring cardio machines and free weights; workouts designed by top fitness experts; exclusive rights to Beach Body products such as P90X and Insanity; and a lineup of innovative spin, yoga, Pilates, circuit training and other instructor-led classes. Spa offerings include men’s and women’s lockers, steam and sauna rooms, as well as services such as massages, facials, waxing and more.
Residents may also enjoy a private Mercedes Sprinter bus for South Beach group excursions, providing transportation to and from several local destinations, including Red Rock Canyon, the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas. In all, South Beach offers more than 150 indoor and outdoor activities curated by the resort’s social and sports directors.
Interested residents can now apply through an application on South Beach’s website, www.southbeachvegas.com, or visit the model units at the leasing office located at 8920 W. Russell Rd.
