Tix Still Available For Springs Preserve Ice Cream Festival!
Come out for the cool treats and stay for the family-friendly fun as the Springs Preserve presents its annual Ice Cream Festival, Saturday, May 20, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children ages 3-12; children 2 and under are admitted free. Springs Preserve members get half off. Advance tickets are available at the Springs Preserve box office, 333 S. Valley View Blvd. (on Valley View between Alta Drive and U.S. 95) and at springspreserve.org. Advanced ticketing is recommended as this event likely will sell out.
Dive into all-you-can-eat cones, sundaes and floats, then enjoy games and crafts with the kids. Check out our live entertainment, along with face painting, storytelling, carnival games, “superhero” training, and a bubble play station. If you want to brave the brain freeze challenge, register for our ice cream eating contest upon arrival at the event.
For an additional fee, our new Kids Cactus Ice Cream lesson teaches little ones the science of making ice cream, while they learn about the edible parts of a cactus and have an opportunity create their own ice cream flavor.
This event is made possible through the generous support of NV Energy, Smith’s Food & Drug, 98.5 KLUC-FM, and the City of Las Vegas Parks and Recreation.
