The ‘Ohana Festival" Happens Saturday 5/6 At The Springs Preserve
The Springs Preserve celebrates the vibrant cultures of Hawaii and Polynesia at the fifth annual ‘Ohana Festival, Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Commemorating Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month and underscoring the importance of ‘ohana (family) in Pacific Island cultures, the family-friendly event features dance performances by local hula halau, island-style food, kids’ games and crafts, and cultural demonstrations and workshops.
KLUC 98.5 FM radio personality and Honolulu native Yung Jon Que will emcee the event. Also scheduled to appear are the 9th Isle Serenaders, with traditional songs from throughout the Pacific. Click here for full schedule of entertainment.
